Balloon Boy was a strange kid. I half expected him to come back. Every few moments I would open my curtain to look. When I thought I'd seen him, I'd open it farther.
I hear a high pitched scream from the guard's room and Balloon Boy starts running down the hall towards the night office. I chase after him, flailing my arms.
"BB? What is it?!" I yell after him.
"Mangle attacked the guard on the way to his shift!" He exclaims continuing on. "We have to stop her!"
I run past him and turn the corner to the office. I see the guard laying face down, covered in blood. Mangle stood over him.
"Are you nuts?!" I yell at her.
She looks at me disapprovingly.
"Mangle!" I stare at her. Her eyes had changed back to dark green and her pupils were white dots. "Mangle! Come back!"
"Mangle's n-n-not he-e-e-re!" The scratchy voice box stammers. I knew it wasn't Mangle, she didn't stutter, no matter how much the kids screwed her up.
She picks up the body and begins to drag it to the Supply Closet.
"Mangle, stop." I demand her. "Right now. Please, come back!"
She stares at me for a few seconds before her body falls to the ground, on top of the guard. I run to her and lift her head out of the pool of blood. It had stained it a little bit, leaving a few blood splotches on her white fur.
"Foxy...?" She whispers. "I'm c-cold." I knew she was back.
"Mangle!" I exclaim. "You're back!"
She raises her eyebrows. "What do you mean?" She asks, "I was never gone..." She shivers again.
"It's okay. You're here now." I squeeze her against my chest, never wanting to let go.
I hear footsteps coming down the hall. "Heh, heh, heh!" It's Freddy, he's laughing.
He turns the corner and his animatronic eyes contract. "What is this?!" He yells.
"Mangle malfunctioned..." I lie, "We were walking and we passed the guard. I thought she had shut down, but she had attacked him."
Freddy scowls, "Mangle, you need to be more careful." Then he continues walking, a slight skip in his step. He was whistling his carnival tune and laughing, "Heh heh heh!"
