Nothing New (a my hero academia fanfiction, volume two of the Nothing Series)

Blitheful

Nestled deep in the confines the Number One Pro Hero Agency stronghold, in an unused conference room- the members of Graduating Class 1 A were sprawled all over the place. Banners with "Congrats Izuku" scrawled all over them were limply dangling from their suspended corners. Smashed cookies, spilled beverages and wrecked party favors littered the ground. Despite the chaotic aftermath of a party that was thrown in Izuku Midoriya's honor- Class 1 A looked almost peaceful.

There was a soft creak as the door opened, and a man tip toed into the room. He quietly set down the multiple bouquets that he was holding and laid each bouquet next the females in the group. The man smiled with excitement when he spotted sleeping Izuku.

The lights flickered on as he cried. "Good to see Midoriya's back!!"

The lethargic Pro Heros spooked awake. Quriks half ignited in a daze as slurred words were called out.

"WhErE's ThE dAnGeR?"

Izuku and Asui woke up in each other's arms, and Midoriya protectively hugged Asui tighter as he blinked blearily at his surroundings. He groggily croaked. "Are we under attack?"

Asui quietly put a hand on Izuku's chest with a smile. Here he was trying to protect her even though he had no quirk whatsoever- She wispered. "You know I think we're going to be ok, because there is no attack."

Shinso crowed. "MINETA!!!"

All of the heroes turned to see their grinning visitor. He posessed a mane of voilet spheres instead of hair and his coal black eyes sparkled a bit. Mineta chuckled. "You missed me huh?"

"Where have you been hiding you rascal?!"

Kaminari screeched loudly as he sheilded Jiro completely form view. "GET AWAY FROM MY WIFE YOU FIEND!!!"

Iida scolded. "Oh come on now, that's not a very nice thing to say after being parted for so long!"

Minetta saw Kirishima move to sheild Ashido from view out of the corner of his eye and he raised both hand's in surrender. "Hey I just wanted to welcome Izuku back-"

"Likely stor-"

Mineta kowtowed on the ground, in the genneral direction of all the girls in the group. "I deserve all your anger and frustration. I was horrible little snot the last time we saw each other, and I appologize for all the pain and fear I have caused. I'm going to keep improving until I am the best man I can be. I'm sorry again."

The women in the room were all moved by his words. Momo was at the point of tears. "Mineta...that was beautiful!"

Pinky nodded with a big grin. "New and Improved Mineta- I like it!"

 The Grapejuice Hero stat back onto his ankles. "I've learned a lot while traveling the world..." He smiled fondly. "and...I had a really good teacher."

A fair woman with flowwy sky blue hair, sitting in a wheelchair manuvered into the room. She smiled and waved to the group. "I'm his 'teacher'. It's so nice to meet my husband's friends."

Jaws dropped to the floor in both awe and sheer disbelief.

Husband?

Mineta was married now?

Iida seemed to be the first hero to pick up his jaw off the floor. "Well Congratulations Mineta!"

Everyone relaxed after that.

After the atmosphere became almost normal again, Mineta spoke slyly asked. "So...are you and Asui dating now?"

Asui and Izuku hugged each other fondly. Izuku gently enthused. "We are, and it's been really nich!"

Mineta winked. "I am so happy for you both!"
