The magma pump

There I stood, in front of the magma pump. Slowly shooting the earth's magma into space, hollowing it out. Slowly. I took out my pick axe and broke two blocks, just enough space for me to walk in. I quickly placed them back, I didn't need anyone seeing things they shouldn't. I turned around to see the tube filled with flowing magma, a death laser, and redstone pumps. Is this alien technology?
