"You liar!" They shouted in unison, feeling betrayed.
"There are curses here, aren't there?" Megumi asked with a straight face. "Don't toy with us, country folk!" Nobara shouted.
"There's a huge cemetery, you know. This means there's a curse outbreak there and in the abandoned building too," Gojo pointed out. "I'm guessing they're easy to come out of the gravesite," Itadori said.
"It's not the gravesite. It's with the mindsets of people who think gravesites are scary," Megumi corrected. "I see so it's like what happened in school," Itadori said. "Oh, I didn't know that," I said.
"Hold on a second. They don't know about such things?" Nobara asked. "The truth is..." Megumi looked away.
"HE SWALLOWED IT?! THE SPECIAL-GRADE CURSED OBJECT??" Nobara yelled in surprise. "AND [Y/N] WAS ALSO INVOLVED IN IT? No way, no way, no way," Nobara was disgusted.
"What did you say?" Itadori said, annoyed. "I feel the same too," Megumi said and I popped out from behind him. "Me too. Itadori, it's disgusting."
Itadori felt offended, "What? You too, [Y/n]? I'm very hurt right now, you know?"
"I want to know how far you guys can go," Gojo interrupted. "Well, it's something like a practical test. Nobara, Yuji, both of you go exorcise the curses inside the building."
Gojo handed Itadori a weapon called 'Slaughter Demon' which has cursed energy flowing inside it. "Ah also, you must suppress Sukuna. Otherwise, all the nearby curses will be instantly killed," Gojo reminded him.
While they were talking, I looked between them feeling confused and left out. I raised my hand, "Gojo-sensei, what about me?" Gojo smiled and placed his hands on my shoulder giving it a light squeeze, "As for you [y/n]-chan, I wasn't planning to send you but sure. However, after you have exorcised a curse, come back immediately and leave the rest to them."
I tilted my head, "But why?" Gojo leaned down to my height and whispered in my ear, "Because the one being tested this time is Nobara."
"Ahh, I see," I moved away from him, feeling a bit uncomfortable since he was being very touchy. I ran to Itadori and Nobara to catch up with them.
While Itadori and Nobara were arguing, I felt two presences that belonged to a curse. I looked around, "Where is it going to come out from?" I closed my eyes trying to sense it better. I snapped my eyes open and shouted, "Itadori, up!"
"And then, to my right," I turned around as another curse appeared from my right side. I coated my fist with cursed energy as I punched it hard. The impact was strong enough to blow its body parts to small bits. I stared down at the exorcised curse, "A weak one. How boring."
I turned around to see that Itadori had already beaten the curse too making me smile. "Itadori, I'm leaving this to you and Nobara alright?"
Itadori smiled at me, "Okay, [Y/n]-chan!"
I left the building through the backdoor. Gojo grinned when he saw me as he patted the space on the bench beside him but I chose to sit beside Megumi. Gojo frowned at my actions while Megumi slightly blushed.
"Have you exorcised the curse already?" Gojo asked me and I nodded. "Yup! It was very weak so I didn't have to do much." Suddenly a curse shot out from the building's window. It must be Nobara's doing.
"Oh?" Gojo said. Megumi stood up, "I will exorcise it." Gojo stopped him, "Wait."
"Straw doll ritual..." Nobara said as Itadori and the child felt chills. "A straw doll?"
"Resonance!" Nobara said and the curse outside the building was exorcised.
Gojo smirked, "Nice. She's crazy, alright."
Itadori and Nobara came out of the building as they safely escorted the child home.
"Good work, guys!" Gojo smiled. "The kid was escorted home. Let's go eat this time."
"Beef Steak!" Itadori exclaimed. "Sushi!" Nobara shouted.
Gojo ignored them and faced me. "What do you want to eat, [Y/n]-chan?"
"Ahh, favoritism!" Nobara groaned but her face changed as she looked my way, "Though I understand because if I had all that money, I would also spoil [Y/n]-chan."
I chuckled nervously, "I'm not a picky eater but I guess steak would be alright." Gojo smiled, satisfied with my answer, "Steak it is then."
"Yes!" Itadori cheered. Nobara growled and glared at Itadori. "You bastard, this is all your fault!" Itadori looked at her in disbelief, "How is it my fault that [Y/n]-chan chose my option?"
"Shut up! You're always the problem," Nobara retorted and Itadori's eye twitched in annoyance. "This is unbelievable."
I noticed that Megumi had been very silent and scrolling through his phone so I approached him since I didn't want him to feel left out.
"Fushigoro, what do you want to eat?" I asked him and he looked away shyly. "Anything you want to eat is fine. I'm also not a picky eater."
"I see," I stared at him wanting to say something. Megumi noticed this and asked me if I had something to say to him. "You can sit beside me if you want," I smiled. This was just an act of kindness but Megumi took it the wrong way. He thought that maybe you might also feel something for him too.
Megumi blushed and averted his eyes away from mine, "Okay..."
