Currently, we were on the rooftop of some building with Nanami fighting a curse. Nanami was explaining how his cursed technique works but I dazed out when he started rambling.
"Just like this," Nanami said catching my attention as he sliced the cursed spirit. "Amazing," Itadori and me spoke in unison. The curse's limbs were cut off.
"That's it from me," Nanami said, fixing his glasses.
Suddenly, another cursed spirit jumped on Itadori while he was looking away but he was quick to dodge. "I'm not impressed with you looking away," Nanami spoke in disappointment.
"Ah, yes, I'll be more careful next time," Itadori apologized. Itadori built up cursed energy in his fist as he punched the cursed spirit. [Y/n] got distracted as she stared at Itadori fighting the cursed spirit.
"[Y/n], it's your turn now," Nanami said making [Y/n] look at him in confusion. "Huh?" She turned around quickly when another cursed spirit came behind her.
The cursed spirit went to throw a punch at her but she dodged and took out her blade as she sliced it into pieces. All the cursed spirits were now exorcised, however, one was still moving a bit. "B-Bento-"
"Please be alert at all times," Nanami said to [Y/n] before walking towards the cursed spirit whom he sliced up earlier, "My apologies, I will deliver my finishing blow-"
Nanami paused when he saw the watch on the cursed spirit's hand, "No way." I walked towards Nanami and stood beside him, "Nanami-sensei, could it be?"
"It is a possibility," Nanami said as he took out his phone and snapped a picture of the cursed spirit.
"Itadori-kun, don't exorcise it yet!" Nanami stopped him and Itadori sweatdropped. "What is it this time?"
"Look at this, I took a picture of my opponent," Nanami showed him the picture and Itadori stared at him confusingly. "Isn't it impossible to take pictures of cursed spirits?"
"That's what we thought too until," [Y/n] said, referring to the picture.
"Please calm down and listen. What we're fighting..."
"They're humans," Shoko confirmed through the phone. "No, maybe it's best to say they're ex-humans." Shoko started explaining about what happened to those humans.
"Is Itadori listening?" Shoko asked. "Ah, yeah," Itadori answered. "You didn't kill them, don't be mistaken by that," Shoko tried to reassure him and Itadori smiled slightly. "Yes." They hung up.
"Even so, their deaths weigh heavy on me. This is just too horrible," Itadori was pissed.
"The work of this is mostly likely to be done by another cursed spirit. I want to stop them," [Y/n] said.
"This person is skilled. It doesn't look like we'll finish this casually," Nanami stood up and fixed his necktie, "Let's go all out."
