I sighed and started to walk towards the entrance. As I entered the corridor there was a whole new world there. I made my way through the hallway, I wasn't sure where to go. I stopped to ask for the direction of the principal office.

It was before the first-period students were taking stuff from their lockers. I intended to ask the first person standing near me but as I moved to call him he turned and we bumped into each other.

O God why that kept happening? He dropped his books I quickly sat down to pick up his books and apologized. " sorry I didn't mean to startle you".

" No problem" he said. I stood up and handed out him the books." You are new here" he stated instead of asking.

" Yeah," I assured him. He smiled. It was embarrassing, I suddenly held out my hand and said: " I am Skye".

"I am clay" he said and smiled. I noticed he had dimples he looked cute and welcoming by the way he held my hand.

"I actually wanna ask about administrator office " I asked."

" O, it's a little tricky let me walk you there" he offered. We started to walk together and I noticed people were looking at us. like really stopping, turning, looking, and talking. I tried to ignore and started taking to clay about school.

He was really nice to me.the corridors and Halls were really tricky. we departed from the building and started to walk towards another one which looked like it was the main one .there were three total, two on the side had three floors, the middle one had four

." This school doesn't look like some small-town school" I asked looking at the ground in front of buildings.

" That's because Mr.lightwood is a very generous man" he said." Lightwoods they seem to own this whole town" I said remembering that rascal Edward, no doubt he acted like that.

That spoiled rich brat thinks he owns everyone in town. I was in my thoughts when someone called out clay's name from behind. we stopped and turned it was a girl wearing a white shirt and shorts .she had pom in her hands.she walked towards us and hugged clay tightly.

she eyed me I wasn't sure why then she kissed him on the cheek and stood beside him holding his hand. Then I realized that she was his girlfriend and she definitely didn't like me with him.

" Where are you going baby with the new girl" she asked." I was showing her the way to office" he told her.

" Hi, I am Skye" I said." I am Bonnie" she said dryly." Baby, I will take her to the office" she said smiling at him. Clay kissed her forehead, said see you and left.

Bonnie watched as he receded and then turn to me " don't even think about it" she growled at me." About what?" I was astonished.

" Don't act innocent. I know your type of girls he is mine so back off" she barked at me.

" You have misunderstood he was just showing me the way" I explained.usually I don't explain to anyone but here I thought I should because I didn't want to cause trouble for clay. He was just being nice

." Oh really that's why you were smiling at each other" she said.while we were talking a girl came and stood with Bonnie,

" so brave of you to flirt with someone's boyfriend on the first day of school" I was speechless, what they were thinking was not true

" I told you earlier that there is some misunderstanding" this time I said in firm tone. Bonnie pushed my shoulder I got misbalanced and slipped. A few students stopped to look at us.

I got on my feet." What kind of behavior is this I have already told you that I was not flirting with your boyfriend, you don't trust me but at least trust your own boyfriend". I snapped
