Alex took my hand and walked towards the main building. I didn't dare to oppose, although he was a stranger, he just helped me for no reason.
Apparently, he was the only one who could save me.No one dared to stop us not even Alice.
We walked, I was still holding his hand when we entered the building. As the glass door got shut behind us I stopped and pulled out my hand from his.
He stopped and looked at me." The office is this way" he said smiling. And oh my my the killer smile he had.
No focus you dumb cat.
I started to walk in the direction he pointed." what no thank you? he said and walked to my side.thanks, for what. the lightwoods were trouble. I didn't want either help or a problem from them.
" I didn't ask for your help" I said keeping my paces.
He smirked," yeah I know but how can resist the temptation of helping a gorgeous girl".I stopped on hearing that, he was flattering me. I glared. He was still smiling, now his smile was irritating me.
Was he making fun of me?." Thank you and bye" I said.
"That's not very polite" he said calmly.
I remembered he knew my name." How do you know my name?" I asked.
"your mother mentioned, ".he said." My mother?"How do you knew my mother and why would she mention me to you.
" Yeah, Mrs. Grace, she is the best lawyer in our firm. She told my dad that you would come to school, he asked me to take care of you" he told me.
oh, so mom mentioned me. Come on, mom I told you I will manage. Dam, what will he think now that I am some mama's girl?.
" So let's go to the principal office" his word brought me back from my thoughts land.
I said nothing and just looked at him for a second he was gorgeous had a good sexy body and there was something about him an attitude that don't come with just money. As if he was the king among folks.
" You are hot" I mumbled but I caught my senses and cleared my thoughts. He smiled but didn't listen.
" I will manage from here" I told him and started to walk. I could not bear his sexy eyes on me anymore.
A part of me wanted him to follow me, so no one would dare vex me. He didn't.
On reaching the principal's office I knocked at the door.
" Come in"
I opened the door and stepped in. The principal was sitting in a chair behind a large table. He was talking to the girl sitting in front of him on opposite sides of the table. As I entered the room they looked at me.
The girl was my age. she was tensed." Come in Skye, have a seat" he pointed to the chair next to the girl.
I took a seat and looked straight at the principal.Mr. Christian was a fine-looking man in his 40s. He told that girl to stay outside the office.
" So how are you liking your new school?" he asked me.liking? I am hating it here except for my new car this place has been hell.
" Nice" was what I said.your mom told me you were in last year when you moved here," he said.
" Yes".Mom! Is there anyone you haven't talked to about me.
" So you will start from where you left, don't worry I have asked Miss Ellen to pay extra attention to you and help you with your study" he said smiling.
Ohhhh why were people being either too nice or dam prick to me?
Does anyone here know who to behave normally? Ufffff! It was frustrating me, I have always been the silent type. I lived in shadows.
I was not used to this kind of attention. "Here you go" he passed a paper to me. I took it.
" It's time for your class I will ask Caroline to take you to class with her" he said standing. I followed him out of the office.
" Caroline, you can go now l will talk to your parents about your matter, and can you please take Skye with you to class" he said to the girl who was sitting in the office before me.
she nodded to the principal and looked at me as she moved as if to ask me to come with her. I said " Have a nice day" to Mr. Christian and walked along with her.
Please God let my rest of the day be nice.
