While gripping her hand, I whisper, "Stevie, can you hear me? Do you know I'm here?" Nothing but silence. "Stevie I love you and I can't lose you so if you can please pull it together and wake up, it would mean the world to me." I cry. Then suddenly, her eyes flutter. Opening them up wider I look at her, "STEVIE you're alive!" I exclaim. I tighten my grip onto her hand refusing to let go. "I thought I lost you, the doctors said I may lose you, oh, Stevie, I love you more than anything." I say sincere as tears fall down my face. "Christine?" She says. "Yes, Stevie, yes, it's me, I'm here." I say as I kiss her hand. "I'm not going anywhere and I'll never leave you at home by yourself ever again." I laugh. It got silent and I crawled onto the bed and laid next to her, brushing my fingers through her hair, telling her how much I love her, kissing her cheek. I don't know what I'd do without this beautiful woman. She's my life, my everything. I couldn't survive without her. I couldn't ever leave her. I want us to die together of old age, but thinking, Stevie's and my life are greatly similar. Some things are meant to be and some just aren't. Stevie was meant to live from that gun shot for a reason, and I can't wait to find out what that reason is.
