Araminta let out a small sigh and fell to the realisation she had no idea where her friends were on the train.

Usually she would meet up with them at the platform, but this morning she was held up by her mother and step-father's unwavering goodbyes.

So she had the pleasurable job of embarking on a hunt to find them.

She huffed as she picked up her trunks and trudged her way through the carriages, on the lookout for the warm, familiar faces of her friends.

A couple of minutes had passed, and she felt flustered, as the train was more congested than in previous years. First years. Disgusting creatures. Araminta repulsed at the thought.

She looked down and shot an unimpressed look down to her untied shoe lace on her brown leather boot.

As she bent down, someone had harshly stroked her side which felt like a small child rushing past her, causing her to nearly topple over before a pair of soft hands caught her. She cursed under her breath as she looked up at the short, black-haired girl smiling down at her.

"Pansy" Araminta beamed,

"Araminta! How have you been?" Pansy responded as she helped Araminta back to her feet.

"Yeah, I've been pretty good, actually. How about you?"

"I've been better, but still got a smile on my face. Just"

Araminta laughed.

"You look different" Pansy contorted as she examined Araminta features.

"Good or bad" Araminta questioned.

"Good of course! You've got this glow about you."

Pansy may have been right.

Araminta had noticed her skin had turned a golden brown from the summer sun.

But apart from that, she had also noticed she had filled out over the break. Her hips and widened. Breasts had grown. And she had lost the baby fat from her face and body.

"Aw. You're too kind Pans" Araminta blushed.

Even though Araminta was a Gryffindor, and Pansy a Slytherin, they became somewhat friends after being paired up in Potions in second year.

That said, Araminta found it extremely easy to make friends.

"Hey, you wouldn't of seen my friends anywhere, would you?" Araminta asked.

"No sorry. But you're welcome to sit with us if you would like," Pansy suggested.

Us. Araminta looked past Pansy into the compartment she was sitting in.

There she saw none other than Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini and Draco Malfoy.

Even though she could handle talking to Pansy every once in a while, she cringed at the thought of sitting in the same compartment as the three most infamous Slytherin boys.

Not that anyone in Slytherin really had a problem with her, as they all were somewhat aware that her father was one of the greatest Slytherin wizards of all time. They all had this somewhat underlying respect for her.

"It's okay. I should probably find them before we get off. Thanks for the offer, though." Araminta smiled back.

"Anytime," Pansy replied as she turned around and slipped back into her compartment, taking a seat next to Blaise.

As she passed their compartment, she caught eyes with the white blonde-haired boy who wore a black turtleneck under his black suit which contrasted to his pale white skin. He looked straight back at her.
