Maddie's POV:
"Mackenzie,please stop tugging my arm?" I groaned as Mackenzie tugged me like a rag doll while she was carrying her red duffel bag with her clothes in."I want Mom and Dad" she moaned,I was boiling up inside but I had to stay positive around Mackenzie so I politely said but with an angry tone in my voice "You know pretty darn well that Mom and Dad are dead" when Mackenzie heard what I said,she had ters in her eyes.I hugged her so tight and I shook her hard "Mackenzie,do you know how hard it is without Mom and Dad?" she nodded quickly.It was good to see Mackenzie understand me.
As it was getting darker and we were wondering around in the Pittburgh snow,I decided to stay in a warm place,Mackenzie suggested a hotel or in a children's home.I glared at her and smiled."Children's home?" Mackenzie lightened up,I shook my head,Mackenzie frowned at me but lightened up again.She knew we were going to find a hotel to stay in for the night.It might be hard as I only have $50 to spare from Mom and Dad's inheritance.
