Three years later,

Norway

I was holding my glass of wine and staring at the beautiful starry night sky. And the city light below is also beautiful. What a beautiful place.

There is always a light in the dark. Just like the stars and lights in the night.

"Mommy," I shifted my gaze when I heard someone calling me.

I saw her rubbing her eyes. And I smile, she's really cute and beautiful.

"What is it, my princess? Is there something wrong?" I asked. It's already late, but she's already up.

"I'm hungry, mommy," I chuckle; this is not the first time she woke up because she's hungry.

Good thing I'm still up.

I cooked her favorite foods: chicken nuggets and bacon. That should always be on the table at every meal. Dahil magwawala ito pag hindi nakakain ng paborito niya.

Nakarinig naman ako ng malilit na yapak, at alam ko kung kanino ito.

"Mommy" pupungas pungas ng sambit nito.

"Watch your footstep, Matthew!" paalala ko sa kaniya. Nakapikit pa, at baka malaglag sa hagdan.

"I also want to eat, mommy." Napailing nalang ako. Naamoy niya ata ang paborito niyang bacon, kaya napabangon at bumaba agad.

Napangiti nalang ako sa nakikita ko sa harap ko. Both of them are eating lively. I am happy that these kids came into my life.

They are my happiness, my strengths, and my solace.

Watching them eat happily fills my heart as well. These two became my energy. Sino ba naman ang hindi magkakaenerhiya sa dalawang ito, ang kukulit.

"After eating, don't forget to brush your teeth, okay? Also, wash your hands."

Pagkatapos nilang mag toothbrush at mag hugas kamay, umakyat na kami sa kwarta nilang dalawa.

Both are still wide awake, so I set up the projector to watch their favorite Disney movies. We watch at least 2 movies, kaya nakatulog ang dalawa.

Inayos ko ang kumot, "Good night, sweethearts. I love you both." And kissed both their foreheads.

Bahagya akong napangiti, at dahan dahan isinara ang pinto.
