"I'm sorry, my little Sirin...."

That was the last words she ever heard before Cecilia dealt the final blow on her.

And then suddenly, she woke up again, as if she just experienced a dream.

All around her, all she could see was skyscrapers, and as she could see they were sideward. Adjusting her orientation, she was standing sideward, as if gravity was altered.

"Where.... am I?" As she continues to observe her surroundings, she also began inspecting herself.

"My powers....! The Gems!" She was surprised, the gems seem to be in a silent state, the power emanating from  them is there, but she cannot in any way access them.

'Are they sealed somehow? Is this the work of those insects?!' She remembered the tower, those vile people that called themselves Schicksal

Before anything further, a voice called out to her, "You are finally awake, young lady."

Snapping her attention to the direction the voice originated, she was greeted at a sight of an old man, standing on some kind of pole.

"Who are you?! What did you do to me?!" Try as she might, her powers did not respond to her call.

"ANSWER ME!"

Instead, she was replied a sigh, "Shiro, it's best you are the one to test her." Test? Before anything else she was greeted again another strange sight, this time, she felt primal fear, like before an eyes of a predator.

"Oya~? You makin' me do your work old man? No matter, I'll knock some sense into her before the Prince arrives!" In a snap of the fingers of the old man, she felt one of her powers were available to her, they will regret giving her a chance.

In a flash, she snap her fingers, portals of raw energy emerged and she unleashed them in full force, her survival instincts roared to her.

"You're too slow, kid!" The pale madman, to her at least, used the cloth of his weapon and began spinning it against the energy, and then he threw it to her, if she did not act on her instincts, she would have been impaled by the giant cleaver.

'That sword... It's not made of metal?!' Not given anytime to breath, the pale madman was in front of her.

'Damn it!' It was as if time began to slow around her, would she die here again?

She closed her eyes, waiting for the pain to come, instead, all she felt her powers leaving her again with the giant sword near her neck.

She was greeted at the sight of the face of the pale one, a look of pity.

"You know kid, you're too angry, if you weren't, I'd be enjoying this. Instead, I pity at your situation, which is VERY VERY rare for someone like me." Not elaborating further, the old man continued it.

"Your circumstances forced you to be consumed by hatred little one. Nevertheless, it is not us that will lecture you." The two began to disappear like ashes before her, and in their place was an orange haired man, and a familiar white haired lady, Cecilia.

"You-!" Before she could act she was then fall upon her knees, as if a massive weight were pressed on her back.

"Mr. Ichigo, please don't be too hard on her! She already hates me enough as it is!" Cecilia reasoned, while the orange haired man, whose apparent name was Ichigo, just sighed and receded his power.

It was clear, should she try anything, the man would just do it again.

"You need to be quick Cecilia, I doubt my presence could stabilize the spiritual energies of all of us, I am not that very good at controlling the energies or else something ad may happen."

The liar of a woman (in Sirin's mind) nodded to the man, with the said man disappearing from her, but his aura of power is still evident.

"Sirin.... My dear little Sirin." She could not respond, many emotions are running in her head, from rage to longing. Despite that, she could not retaliate any further.

The woman embraced her, she was not prepared as all she could hear from the woman's words were 'Sorry' and 'I could've tried better'

At long last, she cried for the very first time, lamenting on the unfairness of it all.

'Even after all I did, WHY?! WHY DO YOU STILL TRY TO CARE?!' She could not find in her voice to let the words out and just cried until she fell asleep in the woman's arms.

Cecilia noticed this as she also let out few tears herself as she began to sing a lullaby.

'No matter what happens in the future, you'll always be one of my dearest daughters.' She then kissed her forehead as she set her down.

Ichigo returned, "It's time to go, you should try again at a later time."

"I know." Cecilia sighed, thinking about many things that she could say to Sirin

"I'll keep in touch with her and see if I could do anything to calm her down. Her Herrscher powers may be lacking, but she's still a Herrscher nonetheless, the less angry she is, the higher the chances of use setting her straight and giving her the life she deserves."

Cecilia gave him a grateful smile, "Thank you, you don't know how much this means to me, to her."

He just chuckled, "Believe me, if you've seen what would've happen if I did not save you from those missiles a few years ago, you would've cursed the Overseer from whatever afterlife you'd end up."

Cecilia asked, "It's better for us not to know more then?"

"Currently? No more than I told you, or else the Overseer we'll get more suspicious as he is already is. For all I know, he got wind of me existence the moment I was present in this world."

"What is the Overseer's goal anyways?" Cecilia asked another question, noticing Ichigo rubbed his temples

"Well it's very complicated since my existence stabilized the souls of both Kallen and Sakura AND them having bodies. As far as I know, I don't have the power to revive someone, yet their souls are directly tied to mine."

Cecilia asked no more, clearly getting the hint should Ichigo share more information, she may do something  reckless.

"We already spent a lot of time here, any more it will be dangerous for all of us."

Cecilia nodded, and with that they disappeared from Ichigo's Inner World.

"Seems the Prince is pretty agitated, probably the Vampire dumping more updated information to his head."

"It's really troublesome, since we also see his memories."

"HA! The freaking simp on the quest to revive his childhood crush where Princey already done it!"

"It's best to be careful, knowing how cunning and morally-questionable deeds he is, he may already got wind of Kallen's existence."

"No kidding, bastard is a cockroach. He'll probably try getting Princey killed knowing he succeeded where he had failed for 500 years."

Both spirits continued to share their thoughts, not knowing another entity is present with them.

The Will of the Honkai, the mysterious force of disaster, is there, observing, understanding the anomaly that had entered it's domain. With this, another branch sprouted from the Tree, so high that the Sea was far from reaching it.

To force out Dormammu, to fight its predetermined outcome of the Current World. No matter, its will shall not be defied.

It then left, not noticing the spirits staring at the place where it once stood

"Shit...."

"Shit indeed, Shiro.... Shit indeed....."
