Few Months Later after the 2nd Impact, Kyoto, Japan

I decided to lay low for a while after I met Cecilia. No doubt they are looking for me now. Ever since the 2nd Impact ended, some wandering Honkai beasts still roam around all over the world.

Before I stayed here in Japan, I looked for Raven. Yes, that Raven from the latest chapter. Alas, I found no one but a boy. I assume this was her younger brother, she must think he is already dead.

Luckily, I found the boy in just the nick of time. He was suffering from burns and also frostbite. I'm not sure he he could understand me once he wakes up but I dropped him off in a hospital in  Moscow. The locals there were very busy recovering from the 2nd Impact, I learned to conceal my Hollow arm and changed my clothes in order to blend in the crowds.

I left in a rush, I don't know what the condition of the boy is. For now, I'm looking for any information about the World Serpent. That organization lasted about many years, the core members will not appear about 15 years or so, but the Grey Serpent is up about.

I'm cautious, anything I would do is bound to get the wrong kind of attention.

Now? I'm currently enjoying my free time. sometimes killing zombies and Honkai beasts alike if they are in the vicinity.

It was then I moved into an open area, then I noticed something strange. There it appeared like a crack in space, it's very small that only someone with enhanced senses like me could see it.

My instincts is already warning me, but I'm itching for something to happen. And like any other curious person, I touched the crack.

A bright flash emerged and I was stunned, all that was left was the wind blowing and I disappeared.

Yae Village, 500 Years Ago

I then stumbled upon a sight with nostalgia. It seems that Yae village is a part of Kyoto, most likely very far from the famous areas of the city. If I compared to the present, a lot of things changed.

I'll probably be stuck here until I clear the suffering of Yae Sakura and save Kallen from her fate, save the both of them from their fates of never ending death and despair.

Though I would really like to clobber some of the villagers since it was them that pushed Sakura to murder them all.

I then changed to my Shinigami form, I'll probably need to stay hidden for a while.

I shunpoed to the river, I'll need to find Kallen first before I make anymore decisions. She has the box containing the Herrscher of Corruption.

I'm in luck, I spotted a lady in a modified nun's habit. There I could also sense the taint of the Herrscher. I wonder if I could purify it so Higokumaru would come out.

As I approached Kallen, I see clearly what happened to her. Not only was she exhausted, she was also injured. Probably dealing with the stray Honkai beasts and zombies before coming here in the village.

The Stigmata Space is sure a weird place, I don't want to know anything about it.

Her injuries does not seem to be life threatening but it could potentially deteriorate her body if not treated. Thanks to my previous life experience with first aid, I did what I could to ease her condition.

I then heard footsteps, before me was the miko priestess Yae Sakura. Before she cold say anything she saw Kallen's state and what I was doing. She merely nodded and helped me.

"Follow me, we'll tend her in the shrine."

I followed her silently as I carried Kallen on my back. As I continued to revel in the scenery I never noticed it is more breath taking rather than seeing it from the game. The air is much more fresh here rather in my previous world, though the dangers of the Honkai is the downside of it along with those mad scientist in Schicksal. When I thought about it, Schicksal is the German word for Fate, ironic isn't it? (In more ways than one)

Shrine

We reached the shrine in about a few minutes from the river.Counted that we walked through a huge stairway leading through it with Torii Gates (You all know where that place is and what it looks like).

Sakura laid a futon as I set Kallen's unconscious form down. The priestess left for a while to get more medical supplies, as for me I went out a bit in order to settle my nerves in. It was pretty awkward for me to stay inside, as far as I know Kallen won't wake up any time soon as long as she still injured.

I never took the box, probably if she would wake up not having the box with her in may make me seem suspicious, as I am already suspicious enough for Sakura. I sighed in contemplation, I wonder how should I proceed in order to break the never-ending cycle of this Stigma Space.

I began doing Jinzen in order to speak to the two Zangetsus, I need to be in practice anyways. I only hope my reiatsu won't fluctuate.

Inner world

The sight of clear skies and skyscrapers greeted me, along with the grin of Shiro and the gaze of Juha.

"So you've come to pump some blood, eh? Well I'm ready as soon as you are!" Shiro placed the inverted color Zangetsu on his shoulders. He really is itching for some action, I only did some few skirmishes against cannon-fodder Honkai beasts and zombies.

"It is good to stay in practice of Ichigo's abilities, his memories may be in your mind but your body is not yet used in instinctual use of them. We are both going to test you further beyond your limits at the same pace we did for Ichigo." I get it, like those words Juha said, do not hesitate.

Meanwhile, in the outer world

Kallen opened her eyes, she felt refreshed somehow. She then studied her surroundings, all she could see was a quaint room, along with her habit neatly folded.

'Someone tended to me, huh? Well I only hope that person was a female...' She struggled to get up.

It was then Sakura came in the room in order to check up on Kallen, she then noticed her charge has woken up. Luckily, she prepared some soup and water for her.

"You're awake! Someone found you near the river all beaten up, luckily I came by when I noticed the person tending to you there. I'm the one who tended to you when we got here in the shrine."

Kallen then accepted the food and drink, after she has finished she asked who helped her.

"Well, he and I never shared our names yet to each other. He is meditating outside." Sakura left to call for you.

"Wait, he?" Kallen mumbled out loud, 'If the priestess said they never traded names with each other, where did he came from?'

She also never got the name of the priestess too, maybe her condition was worse than she thought.
