They reached their resort called "Rhythm" in another 1.5 hours of time. The journey has been invigorating for all of them with those refreshing and illustrious views on the way. The route had a lot to offer including small waterfalls in-between the rock cuts also called the cascades, lush greenery, and the cloud formed at few places. They couldn't get out of their cars but definitely enjoyed the view at its best from inside. The soft music, the serene vista, and the supreme company for one another, they had the best of their road trips. To add to the experience was the resort. Situated amid lush gardens in the Western Ghats Mountain range, it was a refined all-suite baseline-inspired resort with an artificial fall on a black textured rock wall hidden amidst the spell-binding landscaping at the entrance.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz had been allotted the Banyan suite, a very luxurious and a lovely nature's lap vibe endowed. A bedroom, separate living area, a kitchenette, a private decadent deck, and a well-equipped spa-style bathroom. The suite spelled comfort in a unique setting decorated with indigenous hardwood and heritage artisan flooring, classy furniture, rich textiles and the choicest artwork. Everything was well sanitized before their entry. Shehnaaz was filled with awe on entering the room looking out of the life-size window cum door to their private garden. Sidharth was perplexed too, the highlight was the Bluetooth enabled iPod station with the pleasurable view outside, he simply loved the ambience.
"Sidharth!! Ye kitna sahi hai na dekh idhar!" Shehnaaz exclaimed sliding the glass door open to have a close view of the rain drops on the grass lawn spread at the deck.
Both being connected to the industry have been to many posh lodgings yet anything new after being home for so long seemed fresh and exciting.
"Shehnaaz!! bahar matt nikal meri jaan..." Sidharth screamed suddenly. He thought she was moving out to enjoy the rainfall just like she does sometimes in their home at the balcony.
"Nahi ja rahi yaha pe se hi dekh rahi hu baba..." She replied standing at the slider.
"I don't want any health issues for anybody...ek deadly virus ne already pareshaan kiya hua hai world ko with similar symptoms like a normal flu...we have to take care of ourselves, right?" He reverted concerned for her more than 'anybody' he spoke about.
"Hmm..." She hummed in response taking in seriously whatever he had to say.
"Abhi chalna hai na, we have to be by the team's side in some time" He spoke moving towards her to have a look at the garden himself. It was spell-bounding beauty overall.
They were informed to drop their luggage in the respective rooms, freshen-up and join the team at the vanity as they had few shots to record for today as well which was to be followed by lunch in few hours.
"Haan...me fresh ho leti hun fatafat se" She replied moving towards the washroom.
"Perfect! To me ek nap le leta hun 'fatafat se' Ok baby?" He said mimicking her 'Fatafat se' and sauntering towards the bed lying flat on it quickly. His back facing the ceiling.
"No baby! phr terko uthate merko aadha ghanta lag jaana hai..." She turned to him and came back. His one hand clasped in both of hers and she was literally pulling him up with all her strength.
"Please yaar Shehnaaz...tu fresh hoke to aa...I swear I will be up in 10 minutes..." He requested still not moving an inch with any of her attempts.
"Uth jaa Sidharth! Tu uth raha hai ki nahi...?" She warned him.
"Nahi..." He reverted.
"Please yaar...baad me so jana bebu..." She pleaded, giving up on applying any energy to make him sit-up.
