"You are...?" I started. I was too curious about this girl.

Before she could reply, Isbert spoke up.

"She is Tessa, Jasper's girlfriend."

"Shut up," Tessa smacked Isbert's arm. "I'm not. I mean, I'm but not at the same time. It's complicated."

"What?"

She's confusing.

"We are together but without any labels," she explained.

"Ah. That makes sense," I nodded. I've been with the princes for months now. Why didn't I know?

"And why aren't you in class?" Warrin asked Tessa.

"Jasper wanted me to help him look for y'all. He called you, but you wouldn't answer. And why isn't Michael with you?" Tessa spoke with such confidence.

"Michael? He isn't at school?" I said.

"He isn't."

Johnny immediately pulled out his phone and called the youngest Abutilonian prince.

"Where are you?" Johnny started. "Why are you home? Oh. Okay."

He hung up.

"He wasn't feeling too well and went back home."

"Now, worry about yourself," Tessa peeped out of the window to make sure the teacher was gone. "It's clear."

"Great."

We stood up to leave when the door opened, and the history teacher I heard down the corridor appeared.

"I knew you all were here," she smirked.

Shit.

Warrin was taken to Headmaster's office while we were made to wait outside. Sometimes being the president of the student council sucks.

After waiting for about fifteen minutes, I turned to Johnny. "What do you think is happening in there?"

"I'm not so sure," Johnny shrugged. "But I know Warrin will handle it well. Let's hope the principal doesn't plan to call our guardian."

"Yeah, that would be bad," I sighed and looked up. We were so happy. Why did this have to happen?

Just then, the door opened. Warrin walked out, followed by Professor Abbott, who had a giant toothy grin plastered to his face.

"I'm looking forward to seeing how you manage the event closest to my heart," he patted Warrin's shoulder lovingly, smiled at us, and walked away.

What just happened?

"What did you do?" I squinted my eyes at the prince, who seemed to have won the battle against the professor.

"Nothing much," he chuckled. "We were late for classes because collecting forms took more time than we had expected. We had a while before the next class, so we decided to get some things for The Week of Excitement. We left the things we bought at our home and returned, which is why we are late."

"And he bought that?" Unbelievable.

"Why not? I do something for this event every year, and he knows it. So, why wouldn't he?" Warrin shrugged.
