"There are so few rules to our world now. So little truths. But there is one rule that we all know and respect down here. Beware the Ink Demon. Stay out in the open for too long and he will find you. For if you see him, you'd better hide. If you don't, well, I enjoyed our date. Now, let us begin our work"

Alice warned Jaemin, as he rode the lift to Level K.

"I wouldn't exactly call this a date, would you Boris?"

The wolf simply bit down on a bone in his mouth that he found, but Jaemin was still amused by the lack of a response.

"Right, I didn't think so either"

The boy smiled, exiting the elevator when it stopped at the indoor balcony of his destination.

"Have you seen him? The Ink Demon? They say he hears everything. Every creak of the floor. Every rustle of paper. I wouldn't run so fast if I were you. You never know what will draw him in"

Alice warned once more, as Jaemin examined the area while walking up the stairs.

He was immediately met by Piper, who was holding one of the gears he needed in his hand. Jaemin wasted no time and took him out with ease, taking the gear for himself.

"One down"

Jaemin made his way across the balcony and down a hall with whirring machines, dripping ink, and grinding gears.

He continued to follow that route until he stumbled upon a machine box on the wall.
