Dream Girl: The Heart Gods' Beginning (2021)

Chapter 5: The Gods

King flies around the land, looking at his creations. From the trees, to the lakes. He's looking at it all.

He chuckles, "Sorry I have to leave you alone. Don't worry, it won't be the last time you'll see me."

He continues to fly around to discover a flower field in front of him. He decides to check it out when he makes a landing at the forest that leads to it. After looking around the trees, he starts walking to the direction where the flower field is. As he made it there, there's flowers all over the place. Mostly poppies. While he was looking around, he discovered someone sitting down picking flowers. He noticed a halo on her head. Before he could make an approach, she turns around looking at him.

She smiles, "Why hello there. Looks like I'm not the only Heart God here."

"H-How did you know?"

She giggles when she stands up, "Well, lets just say I heard someone flying around the area while I was picking flowers."

She gasps, "Oh that's right. We've never met before right?"

"You're right. We haven't."

She tosses him a bouquet of flowers when he catches it. He looks at it for a moment before looking at her.

"My name's Cream. It's such a pleasure to meet you."

"Name's King. It's nice to meet you."

She giggles before running up to him and offered him a bear hug, causing him to drop the bouquet. He smiles before hugging her back.

"You really are the sweet one here."

While they're still hugging each other, they heard a scream. Both stop hugging one another.

"Oh no!"

Both spread their wings and flew their way to their rescue. Both look around to find someone when Cream points.

"King! I think that's them!"

"Come on!"

Both dive down when they later land and looks around.

The person that was screaming yells, "No! Stop! Get away from me!"

King turns around to see the one that was screaming. It was a young lady in her teens. Who's also there is a demon with red and black hair.

Both King and Cream dashes towards them, "Hey! Stop!"

When they got close, a green glowing spear pierced through the demon's chest. Both of them look to their right to see what appears to be a goddess with green and white hair. She has a halo on her head while still holding a staff she used to throw the spear at the demon. The teen girl looks up as she gasped when the demon backs up and turns around.

He grunts, "Curse you. I was so close."

She uses her staff to retrieve the spear that ripped through his chest. As she retrieves it, everyone watch him struggle to stay alive before falling to the ground and disintegrate. After he's nowhere to be seen, she puts away the spear and her staff.

"Well, that should take care of all that for a while."

The girl looks around before standing up, "Thank you so much. You don't wanna know what he's gonna do to me."

She smiles, "You're welcome. It could've been a lot worse if I didn't step in."

Cream was still looking at her before she made a bright smile, "That was awesome! Me and King were gonna step in! You didn't have to do that! By the way, what's your name?"

"Oh that's right. I should introduce myself."

She clears her throat, "I'm Lady. Goddess of protection."

"My name's Cream. Goddess of nature and happiness."

"The name's King. The leader God of the universe."

Lady chuckles, "You do look like the leader. It's nice meeting you two."

The teen girl gets their attention, "Hey, have any of you came across my brother? I've been looking everywhere for him."

They all look at her when King respond, "Oh, I wish we have. What does he look like?"

A voice is heard, "Hey Daisy. Sorry I left you alone for so long."

Everyone looked at him when Daisy, the teen girl, responds to him, "Oh, hey Ako. Where have you been?"

He drops to his knees, "Man, you should've seen the hills over there. They're so tall."

"Really? I should go look at them when I get the chance."

King gets their attention, "I'm afraid I have to leave you both here. There's a thing or two to look at."

Cream responds to him, "Oh, I wanna join!"

Lady responds, "Yeah, count me in. I wanna join as well."

He looks at them with a smile before looking at Ako and Daisy, "Well, better get going. Please be on a lookout for each other."

Ako responds, "Of course. Thank you all."

King flies off before Lady waves and flies off. 

Cream waves, "Bye!" She flies off with them.

Both Ako and Daisy wave goodbye to them before he stands up and walk to the forest with her that's behind them. It's now night, the gods are on a island after a long day. Cream's making a sand castle, Lady looks at something, and King looks at the night sky.

After a while of no one saying anything, Lady points out something, "No way. Is that what I think it is?"

Both Cream and King got her attention when they notice someone on a big hill with a baby in her arms. She has a halo on her head. Singing a lullaby to a baby boy when she noticed a grown lady coming up to her. King then stands next to Lady to watch a goddess handing over the baby to the woman before she left the scene. All of them still watch when the pink and magenta haired goddess disappeared.

No one said anything till Cream asked, "Wait. Where did she go?"

Without knowing, she was right behind them. She had on a smile before grabbing their attention.

"I thought someone was watching me."

They all turned to their shock when she made a giggle.

"Sorry. I didn't intend to scare you. The world sure has a lot worth looking at doesn't it?"

Cream happily responds, "Yeah! It was amazing!"

She was still smiling before clearing her throat, "I suppose we've never met before. My name's Sweetheart. Goddess of love and sleep."

Cream stands up, "My name's Cream. Goddess of nature and happiness."

Lady has her hand on her chest and bowed, "I'm Lady. Goddess of protection."

King smiles, "Name's King. The leader God of the universe."

Sweetheart responds, "Why it's great to meet you all. I'm sure we make a great team."

Cream responds, "Yeah! That would be awesome!"
