Bryan tore open his eyes and sat up, pulling his hand out of his pants.
He fumbled with the buttons, his face beat red.

There was laughing and a few 'oh shit!'s, but the doorway was quickly cleared, and left Bryan on his bed groaning with embarrassment. This was his first time! Of course this had to have happened to him.

A small cough startled him, and he immediately looked back to the doorway, but it was empty. Bryan stood up and was about to close the door, when he saw someone with their back to the wall in the hallway.

"Mason?" He asked. Mason turned to face him.

"Um," he coughed awkwardly. "You uh.. done?"

Bryan could feel his face grow even hotter, and he nodded, not trusting his voice to not give out from embarrassment.

He watched as Mason's eyes flicked downwards fast enough that he wasn't sure if it was his imagination or not. That is, of course, until Mason spoke again.

"Right. Uh. Jeremy said you had another controller up here? And batteries, too if you're not out. Then I'll leave you to.. finish." He adverted his gaze and Bryan quickly walked back into his room.

Leaning against the wall, he closed his eyes and sighed. After a moment or two, he bent down and started looking in his messy desk for batteries, thankful for the excuse to try to calm down a bit.

He found a half-full pack of them, grabbed a controller off his chair, and shoved them at Mason, who seemed to be closer in the room than he thought he had been.

Mason mumbled a 'thanks' and left, ducking his head to avoid bumping his head on the doorway.

By the time Jeremy's friends had left, and he had in fact finished, Bryan was lying once more on his bed, which was now clear of his laptop and food. He had turned off his main light, and turned on his LEDs. He picked blue, and turned on his side to try to sleep.

Unfortunately, this didn't last very long. Bryan heard a knock on his door, and it opened cautiously.

"Bryan?" Bryan heard Jeremy ask.

He debated saying anything or not. Bryan could easily pass for sleeping if he wanted, but he decided not to.

"What." He mumbled, moving his body to face the ceiling. In the quiet room, he could hear Jeremy move his feet around, but he stood still.

"Just wanted to say sorry about earlier." Jeremy spoke. Bryan's face turned grim at the memory, and he sat up a bit to see his brother more.

"It's my fault. Don't apologize."

"Well I mean yeah it kinda was- but either way, sorry. I know it would've been.. awkward." Jeremy was obviously uncomfortable, and the corners of Bryan's mouth lifted slightly.

It went quiet, and Bryan was waiting for Jeremy to say something. He sighed.

"Is that all, or are going to stand here all-"

"If there's anything you're anted to talk to me about tell me! Please!" Jeremy's words rushed out of his mouth, and he finally made eye contact with Bryan.

"Oh. Um. Okay." He responded, surprised to say the least. The two of them never really spoke much. Now that they're both teenagers, they mostly kept to themselves. I mean, that's kind of what siblings do. "Thanks?"

"Yeah. 'Kay. Well that's all." He adverted his gaze and quickly went out the door, shutting it behind him.

That was.. odd.
