Just to it be clear: This book is set in America so some things may be different if you're from another Country.
The drive to the mall was pretty uneventful. Savanna had been given the aux (surprisingly) and cued some songs by Willow and a few of Liam Payne and Radiohead. Jeremy tried to pretend he didn't know the lyrics, and just kept his eyes on the road the whole time- which is technically what he's supposed to do I'm the first place.
Savanna found a hairbrush and sang every song like she was performing on a stage, which annoyed Jeremy greatly, because she was in the passenger seat and quote 'got in my space bubble the little bit-'.
Sitting in the backseat, Bryan tuned out Savanna and Jeremy's arguing, and focused on the trees they passed. With just five minutes till they arrived, they got stuck in traffic. Out his window, Bryan noticed how the car beside them was the same green as Mason's shirt the day before.
Bryan just shook his head and closed his eyes to take a nap.

"We're here. Get up!" Savanna said as she shook Bryan's shoulder. He rubbed his eyes, unbuckled the seatbelt, and went out the open car door.
The mall closest to them was a bit under the 'average' size, but nonetheless had every store Savanna liked; Earth Bound, Hot Topic, Zumiez, etc.
At the entrance, a dozen restaurants were in a circle- like placement, with several tables in the middle. The three of them walked past the food area, and Bryan realized Jeremy was still with them.
"Wait. You wanted to come?" He asked his brother, eyebrow raised. Jeremy turned his head in his direction, then back, still walking.
"Yeah. I was gonna meet a friend at a park but they're going to just come here instead so I don't have to drive around everywhere." They walked into Claires, following Savanna.
"Okay," Bryan said, bumping into a little girl whose blond hair was tied up into two pigtails. Her ears were red at the bottom, and two shiny silver earrings were placed on each spot.
The girl stared up at him, face grim. He smiled at her and she stuck her tongue at him, walking out the door, a teenage boy with dark circles under his eyes and was pale enough to be a bit concerning followed, his hand in hers.
They made their way around the little kids and hundreds of bright sparkly toys, and found Savanna talking to a worker at a big black chair. Savanna looked up when Jeremy and Bryan appeared in view, and smiled.
"Hey guys! This is my friend Amber. She's going to pierce our ears." Savanna's grin grew even wider at her own words.
"Wait. Our?" Bryan took a step back, but Savanna just ran up to him and pulled him closer.
"Remember when you said you thought Jake looked cool when he got an ear pierced? You don't even have to do both- it really doesn't hurt that bad." She reasoned, batting her eyelashes.
Bryan stared at her, trying to think over his options. There wasn't really a lot. To be fair, Bryan had been wanting to have some change in his life, and this could be the start.
"Okay.. but you do realize I only said that because I thought Jake was hot, right?" He told Savanna, cautiously sitting down in the chair. She rolled her eyes.
