(Man, a lot has been going on since May but I’m glad to say that I’m finally back for good. I’ll be attempting to update at least 2 times a week so stay tuned! :D)

As they got deeper into the forest, Hisoka only grew more confused about where they were heading. He looked up at the trees where light barely shined through. Hisoka took a deep breath before deciding to break the silence.

“Illumi dear, if I may ask, where are we heading?” He spoke gently, trying not to bug the other, he already seemed slightly off today.

“You’ll see when we get there. Don’t be impatient.” Illumi barely looked back at him as they continued to walk.

“Right-...” Hisoka looked away for a brief second before looking back forward. He stopped walking before looking around with a slightly confused expression, Illumi was gone.

“Illumi dear? Hah- Is this some sort of joke?” Hisoka scoffed at the silence, not getting a reply.

“You know, is quite rude to ditch someon-” A pin barely grazed Hisoka’s cheek, cutting his skin. Hisoka touched his cheek before looking at his hand.

“Hmm~? Blood?” A grin slowly began to grow on his face as he pulled out a couple of cards. His thoughts were drowned with questions, especially ones where he questioned who was there. He shuffled his cards as he smiled sadistically.

“Well my friend, you just dug yourself a grave~” Hisoka spoke in an excited tone as he looked around, wondering where the mysterious person went. Illumi’s eyes narrowed as he waited for the perfect moment. When that time came he dashed forward. He jumped up in the air before swinging his leg down to kick Hisoka. Hisoka had heard a small sound of movement, he held his cards and turned around quickly. When he saw that it was Illumi, he froze for a second. He ran out of time to attack so he put his arms up, trying to block his kick. He slightly slid back from the impact before backing up.

“Illu, if you wanted to train with me, you should’ve said so.” Hisoka smiled softly. This ticked Illumi off. He scoffed softly before getting closer to him. Before Hisoka could say anything, he found himself dodging and blocking all of Illumis’ attacks. He was stuck in a position where he couldn’t fight back, he could only defend. Hisoka planted his feet in the ground, trying to stop himself from sliding backward. Hisoka had a confused expression on his face. This seemed too intense to just be training. But there was no way Illumi actually wanted to kill him, right?
