Chapter 10

You were in front of the court doors. There was stuff here and there, but since the school hid so much about these murders that you weren't surprised. Marianne was holding onto your hand for comfort. You grab her hands and smiled at her.

"Okay, my niece. I'll be sitting, you have to go in when they call witnesses. Okay?" Marianne kissed your hand.

"Yes Aunty, you can go inside now." You reassure your Aunt.

She goes inside and you sat down at the bench, that's when you saw Ayano running up to you. You mentioned it to her but never expected her to come. Ayano was the last person you wanted to see, because of how you felt last time.

You smiled and she ended up hugging you. You held and gave Ayano head pats.

"I came! I'm sorry I came unexpectedly, I just wanted to be there for support." Ayano smiles.

"Aww thank you, Ayano." You put on a fake smile.

That's when someone opened the door and called you in. You breathed in and out and go inside, Ayano followed until she got to the seating area. You go on the stand and look at Osoro. The one that killed all of those girls. You pulled yourself together. A lawyer walked up to you and so began the questioning.

After a long time, the court day was finally done. Though you were supposed to have a 3-day trial. It seemed Osoro took the plea deal, so you don't have to go through that monstrosity again. You were so angry that you wanted to punch the shit out of Osoro, even though she will probably hurt you more than you hurting her.

Though you hated the plea deal. She only gets 5 years!? You get angry, but you had to contain it for Ayano and Marianne. You go out of the courtroom and smile at your aunt. Marianne was worried and held you tight.

"I'm glad I stayed until your trial, but those darn pigs only giving her 5 years." Your aunt gets angry.

"I know aunty, but at least she is away and we can change schools and houses anyway." You smiled at her.

Marianne rolls her eyes and kisses you on the cheek. Your response was a hug.

"Now my baby. I have to leave very early tomorrow, I'll leave some breakfast and a note okay? let's go eat at a restaurant so we can spend time together." Marianne says sadly.

You nod in response, saddened that she was leaving tomorrow. Your aunt went to get the car into the front. You saw Ayano waiting patiently for you. You wave and she runs up to you hugging you.

"You did great y/n!" Ayano smiles brightly.

"Yeah," You sighed.

"Actually y/n, I was wondering can we go to the park...like a date?" Ayano hides her face with her shirt, hiding the crazed love look that she has.

"Hmm, maybe tomorrow okay? It's the weekend anyway." You said, to try to delay the date.

Ayano's face disappeared and she looked down, disappointed. Then all of a sudden, she bounced up and clapped her hands.

"Okay, it's perfect because your aunt is leaving and I can make reservations at a restaurant instead!" Ayano embraced you.

You smiled back and you said your farewells. You left the place feeling off because you have never mentioned your aunt leaving this weekend and she was far to even listen to your conversation with your aunt. You brushed it off.

You were upset because you had just a court with a fucking psycho and then you're having a date with a girl who you consider a friend, and to top it off your aunt is leaving tomorrow. You and your aunt started to pull up into a restaurant. You both head and sit down, talking all about stuff.
