"Dreams more thrilling than reality." Fury, one of the Four Horsemen, said as she stretched her arms. She sat in a clear plain as the sun was setting.
"If I had known the new pact would be this boring, I would have had War separate my head from my neck then and there." Fury looked over her shoulder as Rampage her black horse that had blue flames coming of his body. She started to scratch under the horses ears."Oh Rampage, if I didn't love you so much I would have killed you just to have something to do." Rampage whined as she scratched his chin. A loud horn was heard throughout the plains, making Fury stand. "The call?" She asked herself. "Finally." She sighed as blue light surrounded her.
The Chard Council
Fury emerged from the portal. She now was in a volcanic setting. She began walking up the stone stairs to the Chard Council: mighty beings who are to keep the balance between Heaven and Hell.
As she walked up the stairs she saw three huge rocks with evil faces carved in them, and a mountain of a man chained up."Please, please, please, tell me your a planet of demons that need slaying. Or two." She hoped as she walked infront of the Chard Council. She caught sight of the chained man and began to recognize him. "War?" She stood in front of him. "What pathetic fate have brought on yourself this time?"
"Watch...Your ....Tongue." The man grunted as he looked up at Fury. Fury laughed and grabbed his chin.
"Ha! I may be the least favored of the Horsemen, but my tongue never had me chained up like a dog!" She told him in a mocking tone.
"Fury. Approach us." One of the stones said in a booming voice. Fury let go of War's chin and walked towards the stone with a smug look.
"I take it there is a mess that needs tending too." She smirked, putting her hands on her hips.
"Though you jest...you speak truth." The stone said, gaining Fury's interest.
"War has broken his vows to the council...And shattered the seventh seal." Fury was shocked and looked at war."The apocalypse?! How- Why would he-?" Fury asked, looking back at the council
"We know not....Yet." The stone to her right spoke. "As we speak, Earth falls from the Spears of Heaven and the hammers of hell."
"So the Horsemen are to ride?"
"No...While the Chard Council seeks to understand How and Why the traitor War, would do such a thing.
There's a matter that requires...delicate attention"
Fury chuckled."You should have called Strife. He's 'delicate one'". She spit out her younger brother's name like poison.
"The Seven Deadly Sins have been released, by whom we cannot say. But the Seven roam the earth: free of are prison."
"The balance between order and chaos is already in jeopardy." The one to the left spoke. "The Seven cannot be left unchecked. War is imprisoned, Death is missing, and Strife...attends to other matters. The last time you faced the Sins, it required all four of you."
"I can handle those fools in my sleep." Fury said, pointing at the council. "But when this task is complete, I demand you grant me my rightful place: leading the Horsemen!" The council remained quiet.
"Trade in obedience for a title, so be it. But never make a demand upon us Horseman! You depart immediately."
Fury sighed and started to walk away. A shadow flew infront of Fury, making her stop as it took shape.
