《Inuokko》Jujutsu Kaisen Fanfiction

Prologue

Disclaimer: No Shibuya Incident and everything that follows. Appart from that, most of the Story is supposed to be as close to the Manga as possible. Includes my own thoughts about Toges and Yuutas backstory. I apologise for any grammatical or spelling mistakes, English is not my first language.

All of members of first class became a good friend group after a year. Yuuta finally felt as if he has found the place he is supposed to be in. Unfortunately, soon he will have to be separated from his newfound friends. It was especially hard for Yuuta, alone with someone he doesnt really know in another continent, across half of the world and a big time difference which makes it even harder to communicate with his friends. Not only was it hard for Yuuta but also Toge. For some time now, he felt this weird feeling he couldnt describe. Yuuta tried his best to understand him, regularly checked up on his friend and knew when he had to stop because of Toges boundaries which often get overstepped due to his lack of being able to communicate properly. Both of them didnt need much to see how each one of them felt. Yet the day came. Where all of them had to say goodbye to Yuuta for now. During this time, Toge became a lot quieter. He used to be with Yuuta all the time, laughing at stuff that Panda nor Maki understood. He used to pull Pranks on the other with Panda but not even this made him feel good anymore. Something was missing, and it hurt. Confused about what was going on, what his feelings where he became distant to his remaining classmates. On some days it felt easier, on some it was harder. Of course his classmates noticed it and tried to help him as much as they could. But most days he would spend his days alone doing one mission after another, after all he is one of the few people that can master cursed speech.

Although the big time difference between Yuuta and the others, he tried his best to be there for them whenever he had free time. All of them talk over calls and play games online, often for many hours and in the middle of the night. After this, Yuuta often catches himself in tears. He really misses them. With the free time he couldnt spend with the others, he started to learn sign language for Inumaki. Gojo said it wouldnt be as usefull since it will be hard to use in fights but Yuuta insisted on learning it to get to know Toge better. In this time, Yuuta caught himself often overthinking. Yuuta and Toge texted almost every time they could, and after some months he started to get this familiar feeling back. But this time, he couldnt find peace with it. The soft, kind feeling of Love got overpowered of suffocating, sickening feeling of scare. The world of Jujutsu has no place of Love. It can be backfired really easily and cause curses like Rika. He cant help himself but to be scared to admit that he loves Toge. He doesnt want to make the same mistake. Yet he wants to embrace the feeling, he desperately wants to hold him close and give him his love.
