"Have you heard it?", Panda said while sitting down on the bench Maki and Toge were sitting on. "Heard what?", Maki said after taking a bite out of a sandwich Nobara made for her. "While delivering something to Principal Yaga, I saw Gojo talk about Yuuta with him", Panda said. Inumakis eyes started glowing up. Is Yuuta going to come back soon? Panda continued: "I decided to eavesdrop on them and apparently Yuuta will be back in Tokyo in a week or so". Toge started smiling so much that he can't even hide it. He will be back! In a week even! Maki started laughing. "Finally someone I can exercise with! The first years go down so easily". "Did you call us weak?", said a familiar voice and suddenly they saw three figures stepping into the room. "Well, its the truth!", Maki said jokingly while laughing. "How was your mission?", Panda asked while munching on Makis sandwich without her knowledge. "It was alright, I guess. Everything went smooth! But we had been doing missions nonstop... I wish we could have a break", Nobara said while settling down next to Maki. "It will change once Yuuta arrives", Panda said while leaning on his arm. "Yuuta? You mean Okkotsu from the Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event?", Nobara said in a surprised tone. "Isn't he a third year? Megumi said he is really strong!", added Yuji right after Nobara finished her sentence. Megumi shook his head and started speaking: "He belongs to the same class as Maki, Panda and Toge. Yes, he is really strong and thats why I respect him".
Nobara and Yuji continued to ask questions about Yuuta and Megumi answered them. From the second years perspective, they both looked like little puppies Megumi had to care for.
"Why is he overseas? Is he going to come back soon?", Yuji asked. "I've eavesdropped on Principal Yaga and Gojo, it seems like he will come back soon. Though, Yuuta didnt tell us anything about him coming back soon", Panda answered. Toge thought about. What if Yuuta wanted to surprise them and requested to Gojo not to tell them? "Shake!", Toge said while standing up. They looked at him as he took out his phone and wrote into his notes app. Then he turned his phone around for them to look at what he has been writing. 'What if Yuuta was planning to surprise us? Now he can't do that. So we should surprise him instead'. "Right!", Maki said with a big smile on her face. After this they started to plan out their surprise for Yuuta until the sun was setting down.

Around nighttime, Toge got himself ready for the next day and decided to catch some fresh air. Tomorrow he will be on a mission all by himself again. The fact that Yuuta would be coming back soon didnt leave his head. From what he has seen and heard, Yuuta changed a lot. Everything from his personality to his looks. He cant help but feel very excited. He took his phone and started walking around the school, it almost became his second home by now. Sometimes he has to leave for Clan meetings the Inumaki Clan holds for special or important occasions, but thats the only time he really gets to go home. Being a jujutsu sorcer, he cant afford to spend much times with his loved ones or even forming proper friendships outside the jujutsu world. Thanks to his cursed speech, this would be impossible anyway. As a child he accidentally cursed a lot of his classmates and teachers, resulting in punishment from the clan. Once he finished elementary school he was moved to the clan to be homeschooled and trained. Toge knew it was better for his surroundings but he couldnt help but want a normal live. He used to hate his cursed speech until he met Gojo Satoru and Getou Suguru. The Gojo Clan and the Inumaki Clan share a good friendship and so Satorou often visited their residents, of course meeting the cursed speech child Inumaki Toge. Both Gojo and Getou occasionally spend time with Inumaki back when they were in highschool. Gojo was also the one inviting Toge to Jujutsu High, though Toge didnt want to go there at first. He let out a loud sigh and looked at his phone. 'Its late already.. I should head back into my room and sleep', he thought to himself. As soon as he wanted to put his phone back into his pocket, his screen shined up and he saw a familiar name on the screen. It was Yuuta, he send Toge a message reading: 'Are you free to talk? I have a meeting with someone later and Im kind of nervous'. Toge couldnt help but let out a small smile. Yuuta is still how he used to be in some ways. Toge goes straight into his room to answer Yuuta and call him right after. In most calls, Yuuta would talk and Toge would text instead of speaking but in the most recent calls, both of them have been using sign language to one another on video calls. Nervously he started to play with his fingers, waiting for Yuuta to accept the call. Then, he heard his lovely voice speak up. "Hey Toge!", Yuuta said with a big smile on his face. Happily Toge waved at him and signed 'Are you okay?' . Yuuta nodded at him "Thank you for asking. How are you and the others doing?" 'Well, I guess they are alright! We haven't had much free time lately but thats for sure going to change soon. Im alright, just a bit nervous' , Toge texted.

Time passed by and both of them talked longer than they should have, but Toge doesnt mind. He's laying in his bed, staring at the ceiling and couldn't get Yuutas voice out of his head. Slowly he moved to the side, looking at the empty space left on his bed. How would it be if Yuuta is here again? He was so excited, but is it really going to be that perfect? Toge still does not have assurance for Yuutas feelings and he's still unsure of his own. What if Yuuta doesnt even feel the same? Inumaki slowly buried his face into his pillow, letting tears leave his eyes. 'Why am I so stupid to believe that everything will be alright for once?', he thought while tears ran down his cheeks. All he wanted to feel right now was Yuuta holding him tight, telling him softly that everything was going to be alright. Petting his head as he sobs and kissing his forehead. But was that ever going to happen?

Sorry for not uploading for some time, like mentioned on my board I have been in vacation and therefore I didn't have much time to write
I haven't written a story in years and Im still practising so please dont be too harsh on me~
Also a little spoiler: next chapter might get a bit angsty
