Buckle Up

The timer dings, she gets up and flips the stick. She stares at it for a few moments until, "I'm pregnant."

Congratulations go around after Emily goes through her emotional roller coaster of feelings. Emily asks, "Penelope, are you able to do some research for me?"

Sarcastically Penelope says, "No. No, I can't. It's not like I'm the ruler of all things research." Emily looks at her to which she replies, "Jeez, already getting the mom glare. What can I look up for you?"

"Car seats. I want the safest there is. No matter the price," Emily turns around and looks in the mirror. She says to herself, 'Emily, you got this.'

Emily turns back around to see only JJ, "P went to work on car seats." JJ steps closer, "Everything is going to work out."

"I hope so," Emily and JJ walk out of the bathroom different from when they walked in.

After, they meet up with Penelope in the Batcave. Penelope has already found the car seat, "It's at Baby Fever. Let's go."

"Wha-" Emily is cut off and dragged out of the room by Penelope. Penelope rushes to JJ's car, where she drives them. With a little help from the GPS and Penelope's directing skills, they found Baby Fever. Emily walks in, "I see why it's called Baby Fever."

They look around the baby store and finally find Penelope's heavily researched car seat. Penelope picks it up and scrambles to the counter where she takes out her wallet, "My treat."

"Penelope, no. No. I can't let you do this," Emily pulls out her wallet too.

"I want to," Penelope swipes her credit card and the transaction is officially over.

JJ takes the car seat off the counter and assembles it into her car with no problem. Penelope and Emily look shocked to which JJ replies, "I used to babysit."

When they get into the car JJ asks before pulling out of her parking spot, "Why do we need a car seat? You are barely a month in..."

"That's how I'm going to tell Derek," Emily responds and everyone goes silent until they reach the FBI building again. JJ secretly assembles the car seat in Derek's car.

They all head back inside to meet Derek at the entrance, "Hey, I've been looking for you everywhere. Where have you been? You ready to go?"

Emily nods and waves goodbye to the girls, then speaks to Derek, "Are you ready?"

Derek smiles and looks up at his car parked directly outside the door. Confused he asks, "What's in my car." Walking towards it he notices a car seat in the back, "Why is there a car seat?" Derek looks at Emily on the verge of happy tears and realizes, "Oh my god! Oh, Lord! You're- You're pregnant? You're pregnant!" Derek runs over to her, lifts her up, and twirls her around.

"Derek," she taps him on the shoulder, "I'm going to throw up." Derek puts her down and she runs to the outside trash can.

Derek runs over there to support her. After she is finished, he hugs her, "We're gonna have a baby!" Derek holds her hand and runs inside. He checks in again, clicks the elevator button, and rides it to the BAU.

Everyone is surrounding the elevator entrance. All of them take two steps backward to let Emily and Derek off the elevator. Aaron asks, "Is everything alright?"

Derek announces, "We're having a baby!"

JJ, Penelope, Dave, Aaron, and Spencer congratulate to two. They end up back in their office to celebrate a little more. After the festivities die down, people start to trickle out of the BAU's doors. Penelope takes Derek aside and says, "You are going to be a great dad. I just know it."

"Penelope, have I told you today that I love you?" Derek asks.

"Yes, but I always love to hear it more," Penelope smiles and looks back at Emily who is walking back over to them. Penelope, Emily, and Derek are the last three people left in the office. Penelope hugs Emily and Derek together, "You are going to be the best parents ever!"
