Chapter 4

I thought I would be lost in my own thoughts forever.

Alpha Dominic? My true mate?

My wolf was beaming with pride. Its rare to ever meet your true mate, let alone actually mate with them. Some of the pride my wolf was feeling seemed to latch on to me.

I looked up to him to see him staring at me. He hadn't let go of me and I didn't want him to. I blushed at the thought.

I expected my sisters name to be called next so I wasn't really paying attention to the other matings, but when I heard Lilly's name I was pleasantly surprised.

It wasn't shocking that Lilly caught the eye of someone powerful she was beautiful, even more so then my sister because of her kind personality.

I felt bad for my sister, everyone expected her name to called first and when that didn't happen then at least second. I  imagine shes hating me and Lilly for stealing the spotlight but mostly for feeling embarrassed. The thought caused me to frown.

"What's wrong with my little mate?" Dominic whispered in my ear.

His voice then sent shivers down my spine and I started to become aroused. Something I wished I could control. I was hoping by some chance that he wouldn't smell how much he affected me but I knew that wasn't the case when he growled lowly in my ear and tightened his hold on me.

"N-N-Nothing Alpha Dominic" I tried to reply.

I didn't know if he was the type of Alpha that demanded to be called by his title at all time, even by his Luna. My father was that type and he wasn't nearly as powerful as my mate.

"I don't know what your thinking about, and as much as I want to but you need to stop or I'll take you here for everyone to see. See that you are mine. And though it makes my wolf and I happy that you called us Alpha, you can call me by my name. Understand?" He warned in my ear.

I looked up at him and was almost blown away by the intensity of his eyes. 
They look so hard that I wanted to make them soft. I slowly raised my hand to his face and gently caressed the spot above his eyebrows.  His faced softened a bit and he started to stare at my lips.

As much as I did't want to I slowly looked away. Him staring at my lips would only cause me to look at his which would start something I was not comfortable doing in public. 

"Yes, Dominic, I understand" I said answering his previous comment. Hoping to distract him.

He grabbed my chin and made me look at them. The hardness in his eyes was back.

"Don't look away from me when we are talking, it makes my wolf think your rejecting us and makes me think your scared of me" He ordered me.

I didn't want to start a scene so I quietly gave him my reason and apologized. 

We didn't talk for the rest of the announcements but I didn't mind, I was just happy to be in his arms.

Suddenly his arms weren't around me and he was holding my hand leading me to the door.

"Where are we going?" I asked confused.

He turned and looked at me and said "Home"
