Dominic

Chapter 5

He said we were going home but I was already here.

Unless... He meant his home, his pack.

"Our pack" my wolf reminded me.

The thought of leaving made me stop in my tracks. With Dominic's strength he didn't
notice and continued to drag me across the room.  It took a couple pulls from me to make him turn around.

"What?" He asked

"I-I-I have to say goodbye" I told him. "Please" I added hoping to make him to realize I needed this.

He stared at me for what seemed like forever. I desperately wanted to look away, I wasn't used to this kind of eye contact but what he said earlier had stopped me. 

"You have 10 minutes" he finally said.

I wanted to argue but I knew his decision was final and didn't want to waste time. I nodded and turned around. I didnt know who I was looking for but when I saw my mother and father standing next to Amelia and some male who I assumed was her mate, I started walking to them.

"Scarlett!" My mother shouted when she saw me nearing. "Your father and I are so proud of you. Being mated first is a real honor" she gushed. 

"Alpha Dominic wants to leave" I told them

" So soon?" My father asked.

Wanting to defend my mate I said "The ride back to his pack is long and the pack needs their Alpha"

My parents nodded their heads in understanding. I turned to my sister and gave her congratulations on her mating. It seemed she mated the beta of Lilly's new pack. Speaking of Lilly, I went to look for her. I found her and her mate talking to my mine.

I slowly walked over. Lilly mate had his arm around his waist but she removed it when she saw me.

"Oh Scarlett" she said as she took my hand. "I'm going to be a Luna of a pack, I'll get to help so many people! And Carter is so handsome, very intimidating but handsome. He has been kind to me so far. He doesn't talk much but hopefully that will change" she rambled on.  

I laughed softly as she talked. I was about to tell her that I was leaving soon but two intimidating figures surrounded  us.

"Its time" Dominic said in my ear as he wrapped an arm around my waist. I saw Lilly's mate do the same. Maybe it was an Alpha thing.

I went and hugged Lilly, tears in my eyes as we promised to call and write. 

I would miss her and my family. I would miss my home.

Finally I turned to Dominic and took his awaiting hand. I look at him and with reality sinking I said "I'm ready"
