Boun took the opportunity to enter Ohm's office as soon as he saw Seaksit Pendee, the Regional Superintendent of Police, leaving.

"What did the boss want?", the blonde asked.

"Oh, Boun, it's you. He came here to congratulate our unit on the results and said we can take it easy from now on.", Ohm explained without paying much attention to what he was narrating, focusing on the papers on his desk .

"No, no, no, big guy!" Boun said running his hands over Ohm's shoulders, making him get up from his chair.

"What are you doing?", the youngest asked irritably.

"If our boss said we can give us a break... we'll give us one! Kao, come in here!", Boun said shouting the name of the third member of their little gang.

That's how Boun, Kao and Ohm had arrived at the club they were in now. The loud music prevented long meaningful conversations and they just happily enjoyed their drink and snacks. In fact, the first two were doing it. As soon as they arrived at the place, Ohm declared himself the driver of the night and was content to sip a simple non-alcoholic juice.

The evening ran its course and the movement inside the place grew bigger and bigger. Ohm overheard some people talking at the table beside which they were, as the audience was crowding in to watch Mademoiselle's concert, the most anticipated show of the week. When the famous performer took the stage, he understood why.

With her brightest smile, sultry gaze and empowered pose, Titi walked onto the stage as the music started to play. The choreography was simple and insinuating, eliciting whistles and screams from the audience that seemed maddened with pleasure. People of all sorts gathered in front of the platform to throw money, jewelry and flowers at her, paying homage to her performance.

"Oh man... I swear I didn't know...", Boun commented looking with a pitying look in Ohm's direction.

"Actually, I think I should thank you, buddy!", Ohm said getting up and walking towards one of the security guards standing to the stage. The two exchanged a few words and Ohm disappeared through a door on the side of the platform.

When Titi arrived at her dressing room, she was greeted by Sandy, one of the owners of the place, who hastened to say:

"Honey, don't take off your makeup yet! You have a client waiting for you in the VIP room! He paid a generous amount but said he just wants a dance with you."

"A dance?" Titi asked.

"Actually, he said he wanted to talk, but I explained that he had to pick one of the items from the service list or I wouldn't let him in, so he chose dancing."

Titi was surprised, but as she didn't have much of an option, she touched up her makeup, fixed her costume and left towards the VIP room.

Titi's eyes almost dropped from where they were, so startled she was when she entered the small room. It was no bigger than a living room and didn't have the comfort of a bedroom. It was an area reserved enough so that the girls at the club could give some pleasure to their customers without getting too involved, which generated profit but took time, which was not in the owners' plans.

The walls of the place were covered with fabrics in luxurious tones, giving it a refined and tasteful appearance. An irony, if you considered its goal.

It was sitting in the chair in the center of the room that Titi found her nightmare and savior: Ohm had his head bowed and his arms stretched out on either side of his body. He resembled a boxer shot down after the final round and seeking to rest in the corner during halftime. If you asked the detective, he would say that this was actually the feeling he had at the moment.
