It has been a week since they left Arizona. Everyday it was getting harder to not miss Alice.
The environment had changed from warm deserts to a forest.
"The town is after this forest. We will be there in about an hour." Her grandma said.
Julia just nodded and watched the trees go by. She counted every tree.

1 hour later
"Welcome home!" Her grandma said cheerily while parking the car.
"Holy shit!" Julia yelled as she saw the mansion in front of her.
"Haha. Come on I'll show you everything."
Julia followed her grandma through every room in the house until finally getting to her room.
It was huge! Julia ran to the walk-in closet to see it have shoes and clothes already in it plus room for her stuff she wanted to buy. The bathroom was amazing too. It had a shower, bathtub, and a granite countertop for her sink.
She ran to her grandma and hugged her before her grandma handed her a card and some keys.
"Here is some money, all for you. You have around $50,000 in your account just for you. This key is for the house and this is for your car." Her grandma said patting Julia on the back.
"WHAT?! NO!! I CAN'T TAKE ALL THIS!" Julia yelled.
"Don't be silly. Now go look at your car. I have to go to the next town over. I'll be back in about two weeks."
Julia ran down the stars and into the three car garage where she saw her car. It was a classic 1967 Chevy Impala in black. He dream car.
She ran inside, hopeing her grandma hadn't left yet only to find a note tapped to the door saying her grandma had left and the house was all her's.
No way! I can't be this lucky! School should be so easy now! Julia thought was she got in her car to go to the school to register.
