~Alisa's POV~

I woke up today and just knew that something was going to happen today, whether that something is good or bad, I have no clue. I let out a sigh crawling out of bed, pulling on my boots before grabbing my cloak and walking downstairs. I saw Rumple sitting at the table and smiled, I walked over kissing his cheek, he gave me a small smile.

"Are you sure you want to do this, you don't need to go."

I sighed.

"Rumple, you can't keep me locked away forever, I can take care of myself. I'm going to grab a sword and start my trip, is there anything else you need while I'm out?..."

He sighed, shaking his head.

"Alright, then I love you, and I'll see you when I get back."

I went to walk away and he stood up taking my wrist in his hand pulling me back into his chest.

"Alisa..."

I looked at him before he continued.

"I want to give you something before you go."

I raised a brow before smirking and letting out a sigh.

"Alright, make it quick, I really have to go."

He gave me a kiss before taking my hand and dragging me to the dueling room. We walked in and there in the middle of the room on a stand stood a silver sword with a dark midnight blue hilt. I looked at it before looking at Rumple and shaking my head, I wrapped my arms around him holding him close before pulling away and placing my lips against his. I smiled into the kiss before pulling away and looking into his eyes before looking back at the sword. I pulled out of his hold walking over and taking it from the stand, the next thing I knew another sword came in contact with mine. I looked at him and the stand disappeared, I shook my head as I let my cloak fall to the floor. Rumple and I stood there dueling, until I put him on his ass, he looked at me shaking his head. I quickly grabbed my cloak sheathing my sword and running towards the door only for Rumple to pop up in front of me.

"Just where do you think you're going?"

"I think I'm going on my run to the village..."

I gave him a quick kiss before running off, as I walked down the road I felt as if someone was watching me. I let out a sigh shaking it off and the next thing I knew a pair of Black Knights jumped out, they pulled out their swords. I shook my head and chuckled, they gave me a strange look as I pulled my sword from its sheath. The first one lunged at me and I dodged causing him to ram his head into one of the trees behind me. The other lunged and I blocked his sword with mine, we stood there dueling before I finally put him on his ass, he looked up at me and I put my sword to his throat.

"Tell your queen that if she wants me, she's going to have to do a lot better then two men."

He stood up grabbing his friend and leaving, I sighed sheathing my sword and shaking my head.

"You can come out now."

"How did you know I was watching."

I sighed looking at him.

"I could feel your eyes on me from the moment I left home, I told you, I can take care of myself. When are you going to stop treating me like a child and more like the capable woman I am?"

"Alisa, I just wanted to keep you safe."

"Well have I proven that I don't need protection, I'm very capable of taking care of myself, and if anything this has proven that. Not to mention I've bested you several times and you've always told me you were unbeatable, so tell me, what is your problem with me being independent?"
