Thankfully, it was Saturday the next morning. You put your notebook, sketchbook, quill, ink, and drawing supplies into your bag. You changed and went downstairs to the Great Hall. You started to eat your breakfast and had finished by the time Harry and Ron came down.

"I'm going to do some research in the library."

You found a table in the back corner and placed your things down. You then found a section on magical beasts. Browsing the shelves, you found a book that seemed promising. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was just out of your reach. You got on the tips of your toes and your fingers brushed the bottom of the book. Grabbing it, you pulled it out. Turning, you locked eyes with gray ones.

"Draco."

"I don't believe we are on a first name basis, Potterette."

"Sorry, Dra-Malfoy; but why Potterette?"

"Because there are two Potters in this school; now move out of my way, I need to get to a book behind you."

You shrunk back at his tone, but clenched your arms around your book. "Not unless you say 'please'." He narrowed his eyes.

"Excuse me?"

"Politeness will win more favors than rudeness."

He rolled his eyes. "Fine, please move out of the way."

You stepped to the side with a nod. "Have a nice day." With that, you turned and walked away.

You went back to the table and opened your notebook. Poising your quill, you started to look for three-headed dogs in the book.

Phoenixes, Bowtruckles, basilisks, dragons, three-headed dogs, nifflers... three-headed dogs! You started reading.

Three heads... most fall asleep when music is played... drool can heal burns...

"Interesting." You murmured and started writing.

-most three headed dogs fall asleep when music is played

-saliva from a three headed dog can heal burns

Hermione wasn't talking to Harry and Ron, but she was still talking to you. You were finishing your breakfast when you were tapped on the shoulder; turning, you saw the Weasley twins. Ron had introduced you to them earlier in the week and you were sort of in awe of the pranksters.

"Y/n-"

"-we were wondering-"

"-if you'd like-"

"-to help-"

"-us with-"

"-something."

The Weasley twins went back and forth, then finished together. Laughing, you agreed and they brought you outside the Great Hall.

"We need you to be the lookout." One of the twins said as he handed you a piece of blank parchment.

"You say 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good' to reveal the map and then 'Mischief Managed' when you want to hide the map." The other twin explained.

"Ok."

"If someone comes-"

"-just come to get us-"

"Asking for help with homework!"

You nodded and sat in a little alcove. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." The map revealed itself. 'Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs are proud to present the Marauders' Map' Opening the map, you saw that the map showed people moving! You found Fred and George in Professor Quirrelll's classroom, moving around.

You suddenly saw that Professor Snape was nearing Quirrelll's classroom. You didn't mind Snape, but you knew that he'd be hard on the twins. "Mischief Managed." You slipped out of the alcove and hurried to Quirrelll's classroom, hoping to beat Snape.

As you rounded the corner, you saw that you were too late to warn the twins; but you could delay Snape.

"Professor Snape!" He turned and his face softened. "I wanted to talk to you. I'm asking all the professors if they could tell me anything about my parents." As soon as the words left your mouth, you decided to actually do that. It wasn't a bad idea. Behind Snape, the Weasley twins snuck out of the classroom. You ignored them, focusing on Snape.

"Your parents?"

"Yes, sir. My aunt and uncle didn't like to talk about them, so I don't know a lot about them."

Snape thought about it and then answered. "I never cared much for your father or his friends. They called themselves the 'Marauders' and were constantly pranking somebody; but your mother, your mother was one of my first friends. Even though I was a Slytherin and she was a Gryffindor. She was kind to me until I messed up our friendship." He looked so sad. "Your father was never nice to me. One day while he was bullying me, your mother stood up for me. I had already been ignoring her because my Slytherin friends told me that I shouldn't be friends with a muggleborn. After your father and his friends left, I had told your mother that I didn't need help from a mudblood. I've regretted it ever since." He looked at you and smiled. "You look so much like your mother."

"Thank you, Professor!" You smiled at him and walked off back to the alcove.

Professor Snape had said that your father and his friends were called the Marauders, like the Marauders' Map. You pulled out the parchment, looking at it. Maybe this had been your father's and his friends' back in their school days.

They may had been pricks and bullies, but you felt a little bit closer to your father now. You carrressed the paper and then went off to find the twins.

In Charms, you were sitting in between Harry and Hermione, who was next to Ron. There was a feather in front of each person in the class. "Now don't forget that nice wrist movement we've been practicing. Swish and flick, remember, swish and flick."

The students started to practice. You heard Ron practically yelling at his feather, not even swishing and flicking his wand. You reached around Hermione to stop him from waving his arm. "Ron, stop! You're going to take someone's eye out. You have to swish and flick your wand for the spell to work. Like this." You demonstrated and he smiled slightly.

"Besides, you're saying it all wrong. It's Wingardium Levi-O-sa, not Leviosar." Hermione added onto what you said.

Sighing, you swished and flicked your wand. "Wingardium Leviosa." Your feather rose into the air followed closely by Hermione's after Ron had told her to do it if she was so smart.

"Well done, look everyone! Ms. Potter and Ms. Granger have done it!" You quickly brought your feather down, not liking the attention.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The boy next to Harry, Seamus Finagan, yelled at his feather and it burst into flames. Harry raised his hand.

"Professor, we're going to need another feather over here."
