YOUR FINGERS GRIPPED TIGHTLY ONTO THE SKIRT of your school uniform as you sat at your desk, your legs squirming in nervousness. Your eyes found itself staring at the special blonde classmate once again as you felt your heartbeat quicken every time you looked at him.

You buried your face into your arm as you tried to calm yourself down. Your eyes trailed down to look inside your bag. The sight of a small blue paper bag made you release a small sigh.

You spent all night baking cookies yesterday. You wanted to thank Chifuyu for helping you out after school in the classroom the other day. Because of him, you were able to get home before it turned dark and you wanted to thank him for it.

But you have a slight problem. You didn't know how you were going to give the cookies to him; you couldn't bring yourself to. You've had so many opportunities to do so today but you still couldn't bring yourself to do it. It was currently the last period of school as well, meaning that school was going to end soon.

You've got no choice to but to give it to him after school now that you've delayed things for so long. You've ran out of resources at home as well so you couldn't make a new batch either; so you had to give it to him today.

You stayed still in your seat for the next 10 minute, continuing to fidget around as you nervously waited for the bell to ring, signalling the end of school.

Finally, it rang, the sound of the bell reached your ears sending shivers downs your back. School was over, and it was about time you give him the small gift.

You placed your hand on your chest, feeling your heart thumping loudly in nervousness. But you had to do this. So you took a deep breath before you forced a smile on your face, making sure you look presentable before you approach him. You turned your head around to look at Chifuyu's desk only to notice that,,,

He was gone.

Your eyes widened in realisation, your mind twisting in confusion. He was in his seat a second ago; you looked away for a minute and now he's gone.

You started panicking as you looked around the classroom, scanning from corner to corner of the room for the blonde. But it was no use. You couldn't find him.

You quickly stuffed your textbook and pencil case into your bag before you hurriedly got up and left the classroom. The bell rang two minutes ago, he should still be somewhere around the school. With that thought in your mind, you went around every corner of the school searching for him.

You placed your hands on your knee as you took a few steady breaths trying to regain your stamina from all that running. Your lips curved into a small frown from disappointment as you felt a heavy weight fall on your heart.

You couldn't find him anywhere.

Your eyes diverted outside and notice the sun being swallowed by a bunch of clouds, and before you knew it, it started pouring; the weather now perfectly matching your gloomy mood.

You were so excited to give the cookies to him today, but you guess not anymore. You held onto the handle of your school bag before you slowly made your way to the entrance of the school building. Looking around, you noticed most of the students have already left; they probably all knew it was going to rain today so they left before it did.

You never watched the weather forecast, so you were unaware of sudden change in the weather, but it was okay cause you brought your umbrella with you so you didnt have to worry about getting wet.

You got to the front locker as you took off your indoor school slippers, placing it inside the locker before taking out your other shoe and slipping them on.
