SMG4 AU: Return of the Woomy

SMG4: Saying Goodbye...

The end is here. Thank god it didn't take months again; just only a week. Since Sunset Paradise is over, it's for the best to finish this little three part story off. I had different plans of ending this, but I'll tell you all what they were gonna be and why I changed it after the ending. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy as usual.

A day has passed since the real Meggy came back, and the clone human Meggy departs to Port Aurora tomorrow.

IMeggy's day has been great. She finally gets to be with her friends once again, since she's been far away from them for so long. She played games with Tari, Belle, and Mario, and listened to SMG4 telling the stories of what happened while she was gone in better detail.

IMeggy: I'm glad my human counterpart continued my life and evolved, but man, I still wish I was there, experiencing what I missed.

SMG4: Trust me, you don't. Even though you would win a Splatfest and celebrate a few times, no. I don't wanna remember SMG3's YouTube chaos again...

IMeggy: Good point. Any upcoming events to look forward to aside from human me leaving?

SMG4: I've been hearing a lot of stupid and dumb rumors and jokes saying that Mario is gonna die on March 31st... but I don't believe it. It's just one specific day, what could happen?

IMeggy: Same. Speaking of, what's my human self doing now?

SMG4: She must be packing up in her house to leave for her trip tomorrow.

IMeggy: I'll pay her a visit. She needs one last visit from her new friend until her departure.

SMG4 gave directions to Meggy's house, as she sat in her kart, putting Meg Jr. in the kennel beside her, and drove over there, arriving a while later.

IMeggy: Wow. That is a nice house. She made the right choice on picking this place.

Meggy (from inside): L-leave me alone!

IMeggy: What the-?!

She heard her human self's voice in distress coming from inside the house, as she ran inside in a panic.

IMeggy: Whoever you are, don't you lay a finger on her! She has so much more to live for, take me instead!

She bursted inside Meggy's room, only seeing her human counterpart all alone.

Meggy: Ob... hey, me.

IMeggy: Huh? W-wasn't there-

Meggy: This is my fear. This was the reason I want to go on a vacation.

IMeggy: What? What are you talking about here?

Meggy: It started after another failed career of mine.

She points to the board in her room showing the jobs she failed at, those being police officer, babysitter and boxing coach.

IMeggy: Oh my...

Meggy: And after adding boxing coach to that list, I got on my bed and just felt depressed that I failed once again at a job I wasn't fit for... until this shadowy figure appeared... and it was a dark and evil version of me. It felt scary seeing this manifestation of my past mistakes just haunting me for the past week... and that is why I needed this vacation.

IMeggy: ...

She just looked on, in surprise, that such a being was haunting her other self.

IMeggy: That's horrible...

Meggy: I know... I just want it gone, out of my life, but I can't!

She hugged her Inkling self while crying, while IMeggy looked down at her in sympathy... but she learned those feelings didn't stop her before.
