T.W. - Mention of Rape
I woke up to the sound of laughter. I instantly recognize my parents' voices, but not the third's. I decide to get ready before going down for breakfast so I can make a good impression on the stranger downstairs definitely not wanting them to see me in an over sized ratty t-shirt . I take a quick shower, brush my teeth, and do my skin care routine. After drying off I put on my undergarments and quickly get dressed and do makeup. I opt for light makeup today, only using concealer, blush, highlighter, and bronzer. I let my brown hair fall down my back in its natural brown waves. I put on a black graphic-tee and black biker shorts tucking the shirt into my bar to show off my figure more. I pair it with silver jewelry before heading downstairs.
I walk into the kitchen surprised to only see my mother washing dishes in the sink.
"Good morning mama," I say, kissing her forehead.
"Good morning mija" she replies, placing a plate of chilaquiles on the table
A big grin spreads across my face. I absolutely adore my mothers cooking, after all it is what she does for a living. She's catered for huge celebrity weddings and social events. She also has a cute little diner here in LA. Cooking was her passion and she was damn good at it.
"Gracias, mama" I thank "Oh! Ma was there somebody here this morning? I could have sworn I heard voices."
"Oh! Yes, one of your fathers old colleagues came by."
"Why?" I ask with a mouth full of food
She smacks the back of my head "What have I told you about talking with your mouth full?"
"Anyways" she says pushing some coffee my way "He's here for you actually, papa called him"
"Wha-"
"Just hurry up and eat so you can go see what he wants mija" she says pitching my cheek
I have never eaten so fast in my life
