"Class is over" Mr.Blake said
"Yay" I whisper
Reading class isn't really my favorite class. I hardly even read, maybe just sometimes I read up to two books a year.
"Aye, Theresa" Luna catching up to me
"Wut?"
"Are we gonna go to the mall after school?"
"Umm...sure" I mumble.
I'm not that type of girl that likes to go shopping. Maybe just once in a while but other than that I don't really like going.
"Well better get going for Math class" Luna said
Now math is my favorite subject. Always has been since a very young age. I'm way ahead of the class, if I'm right I'm in trigonometry, while the rest of the class is burly getting introduced to algebra 1.
"Class, what's 40 percent of 20?" My math teacher, Ms.Harlem asks the class
I'm the only one that raised my hand
"Yes, Theresa. What's the answer?" She calls my name
"The answer is 8" I respond
Everyone just looks at me confused as in how the fuck did I get that.
Anyways, school is over and I promised to go to the mall with Luna. She had said to meet her by the parking lot, so I go over there. I can't seem to see her anywhere. I call her.
(Call starts)
"Hey, where are you?" "I'm here in the parking lot like you said"
"Sorry, it's because I got out of class late but I'm almost there"
"Okay, I'll be here waiting for you"
(Call ends)
She is here 5 minutes later.
"Okay, I'm here. Ready to go?" she looks tired from running all the way her.
"Yep. Are you? You look tired" I say sarcastically
"Yea, let me just get my breath back and let's go"
"Okay" I laugh
We walk to the mall because it is literally like 5 blocks away. On our way there we pass by Starbucks. I get a caramel frappe, my favorite and she gets one too.
"Yum" I take a sip.
We get there like 10 minutes later and it's already 4pm
"Come on hurry" Luna said, grabs my hand and drags me over there.
We're inside now. We go store to store looking at the latest cloths. By the end of the day, she leaves the store with 2 bags full of stuff she bought. I only bought some jeans and this really cute tank top I really liked.
"My mom is on her way to pick us up" Luna says
"Okay" I say
Her mom comes and take us home. I'm really exhausted right now, I just want to get home.
"We're here" Luna's mom says
I get off the car.
"Okay, thanks for the ride"
"No problem" Luna's mom says
"Bye Luna, see you on Sunday"
"Bye"
I see Luna fall asleep as her mom drives away.
Well today was a long day and I Can't wait to tomorrow, I'm gonna go see what high school I'm gonna go to. I'm really Excited about it. I hope high school will be fun, well it should be.
