Chapter 9 The Aftermath

The day after Zoe died Grace started going with Zoe's wish and decided to go with what she wanted and Grace did  the planning and made a song to sing at the funeral  Hannah and the guys go check on Grace and she went to Jacob and hugged him and thanked him for everything he did for Zoe and then they all planned it out and then started talking about the  memories they had with her and Jacob walks away holding in the tears Grace saw he was struggling with having Zoe by his side then the 3 decided to have a tribute for Zoe so Grace asked James and Hannah if they could it they agreed to help out meanwhile Grace went to visit Jacob at home she chapped the door to find it was open she walks in seeing him on the couch sitting reading the letter in tears wishing she would be alive again and realised Grace was there then asked why she came up to visit him  she said because she loved you and she would have wanted me too keep making sure you keep going and keep being strong she kept telling me how amazing you were with her and how you were there for her when I wasn't  there for her she loved you so much and she felt so lucky to be with you. we both need to get through this and we just need to accept the fact she isn't in pain anymore and she would want us to continue on her memory and she would also want us to be happy. Jacob and Grace both comforted each other then came in Hannah and James joining in for a group hug and supporting each other Jacob apologies for not being himself. James tells him it's ok to grieve no one will judge you for it and I know it hurts I understand what it's like even you know that  but I will support you always like you did for me when my Dad died in the line of fire. Hannah went silent and Grace asks Hannah if she was ok she said not really no because Zoe was more than a best friend to me she was like you a sister I could rely on no matter what she saved my life from suicide and from the bullies like Ellie and Nicole  she made me feel like I was someone  she was so beautiful inside and out and I can't thank her enough for everything. James then had his say about  Zoe and what she did for him Zoe was  there for me when I was sleeping  rough she used to come out every day and night and see that I was struggling at home with a violent Step Dad who nearly beaten me half to death I ran away it was winter time  she was walking home and saw I was shivering and barely breathing after the beaten I took from my Step Dad and took me inside Fellini's and he was concerned as well so he took me in and he offered me a place to stay and adopted me if it wasn't for Zoe I would be dead. Zoe told me to protect you no matter what because she knew I was in love with you since the first I met you she told me to make sure you were ok at the party because she had a got feeling you were in danger ever since am with the best person who makes feel alive again and she made me feel like I got a family which is you guys and am forever grateful. they had their moment and decided to go home and get ready for tomorrow for Zoe's funeral.
