Chapter 9

"Woooooah that was so much fun!" Jake was smiling uncontrollably.

"I think I'm going to be sick" Jungwon looked upset and before we could say anything he puked on the grass.

"Ewww" Jay and Sunoo commented while laughing.

"Hey guys! We got some snacks" Sunghoon and Heeseung came over with food in their hands.

"Here, I got you some candy"

"Could've just given me yourself then" I accidently said out loud as Heeseung gave me some candy floss.

Shit.

I saw a small smile creep up on his face and it was cute, I just stuffed my face with candy floss in embarrassment.

"Y/n" Jungwon whined and I looked at him "I still don't feel well" he gave me puppy dog eyes "Maybe a kiss will help with the pain"

Ugh this guy, he's such a flirt.

I looked at him and smiled before stuffing some cotton candy in his face and everyone laughed.

"C'mon Jungwon, let's just go to another ride" Sunoo dragged him and we walked on.

I was busy eating my candy floss when Heeseung came over and walked by my side. I looked at him and he had a silly smile on which made me smile.

"You know" he leaned in towards my ear "You look really pretty today"

The heat of his lips and his breath upon my ear made me choke on my cotton candy.

But Heeseung continued to smile "I guess I'll make you choke a lot" he whispered in my ear which made me cough even more and really nervous.

It has been like this for a month now. Heeseung and I would flirt and I know how I feel about him, but I'm not sure if he's just doing it for the fun or if he actually likes me.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" Jake ran up to me patting my back and I coughed while laughing.

"I'm fine Jake" I ruffled his hair and we walked over to a teacup ride.

"Let's ride this one!" I pointed at the giant teacups and everyone sighed.

"Cmon guys I really want to and you need to be three in a seat, so two of you need to ride it with me"

"I will" both Sunghoon and Jungwon said at the same time and I smiled.

"Then let's go" I grabbed their hands and went on the ride.

It was a lot of fun, even though Sunghoon held my hand a lot, but I shook that off since he might have been scared.

"Woooooah" I came off the ride a little dizzy "That was fun" but I missed a step and tripped falling. But I didn't fall. I felt a pair of hands holding my waist holding me up.

I opened my eyes to see Heeseung looking deep into my eyes and a smile came across his face "You should be careful" he helped me up.

I felt a little awkward since he was so close and his touch made me hot.

"Let's go get some ice cream" I changed the subject and ran for the ice cream stand.

"A chocolate scoop please" Sunghoon ordered and looked at me "I know it's your favourite" he smiled and I thanked him.

"Ahhhh" Sunoo whined and when we looked at him his nose had vanilla ice cream on it. I turned to see Jay laughing mischievously, but his smiled disappeared when Sunoo attacked him with ice cream too.

"Ice cream fight!" Jake screamed and we all threw ice cream on each other.

"Ahhh my eye!" Heeseung's eye was hit by Sunghoon's attack.

"Are you okay?" both Jake and I rushed over to Heeseung and Sunghoon didn't look sympathetic.

"I'm fine" Heeseung chuckled and opened his eyes. I saw his eye had swollen from the cold ice cream and I placed my hand over his face looking at the damage.

Heeseung cleared his throat and I realised how close I was to his face as we looked into each other's eyes. I looked down at his lips and then back to his eyes. I want to kiss him. I really want to.

"Is he okay?" Jake asked worriedly.

My attention came back and I nodded "It doesn't look like any damage, just swollen" I stepped away from Heeseung and stood next to Sunoo.

"Ahh!" Jungwon shouted covering his eye "Sunghoon also threw ice ceam in my eye" he looked at me "Y/n, I think you need also need to check on my eye." He smirked and I felt a hand hold mine.

It was Heeseung's.

I looked at him "Let's go ride that Ferris Wheel!" he pointed to the one a few metres away from us.

"Yeah let's go!" Sunghoon said and walked ahead but Heeseung touched his shoulder.

"I want to go on the ride with Y/n, just Y/n" Heeseung's words gave me butterflies and he took my hand as we walked over to the ride.

"Have fun!" the man working on the ride said as he closed the door and left us alone.

I sat across Heeseung looking over the city as the Ferris Wheel slowly rose.

"Woah" he said with a huge smile on his face "The view is so beautiful" he came over and sat next to me.

"Yeah, the city is really beautiful especially at this time during sunset" I smiled at the glow on his skin.

He leaned in closer "I was talking about you. You're beautiful" his eyes stared into my soul and my stomach was attacked again by the butterflies he gives me.

My face became red as his hand hovered over mine. I took the courage and held his hand and felt a sense of relief. His thumb stroked my hand and without thinking I leaned my head against his shoulder.

"You're beautiful too" I finally said after a few moments and Heeseung was pretty taken back. He looked at me with a shocked expression and I smiled at him. My hand held his cheek "Everything about you is beautiful" I said and saw the blush run across his face.

He chuckled a little "I-" he couldn't finish his sentence as I interrupted him.

"Look!" I pointed at the view of the city. The sun was setting with an orange glow and everything looked perfect. I looked at Heeseung. He's perfect.

"Y/n" he said getting my attention "You're so.." he stuttered which I thought was cute "You're so amazing"

I couldn't help but smile.

"When I first came to this country I was scared. But as soon as I saw you at school on the first day, I knew you were amazing. I was just lucky to be partnered up with you for the duet or else I wouldn't have gotten the courage to hang out with you." He looked deep into my eyes.

"You're so kind, such an amazing singer, you're so funny" he smiled "You're so beautiful" he licked his lips and my stomached turned from nervousness.

"But the most important, you make me happy"

His words made me melt.

"You make me happy too" I smiled as I examined his beautiful face. His face came closer and I could feel the heat of his body once again. My eyes looked at his lips as his did the same. We both leaned in, desperately wanting to share the love for each other, but it was interrupted by a ding.

The door of the Ferris Wheel opened and the ride was over. I looked at the door and no one was there so I took my chance and gave Heeseung a small peck on the cheek and took his hand.

His eyes went wide and I had to wake him up from his dreams "Come on, the other will want to know where we are"
