"Alex" i slapped my brother's arm as i caught view of my ex across the food court.
"What lexa you don't disrupt a man when he's eating" he groaned looking up.
"Look over there" i whispered and he turned his head to Luka's direction .
"Luka!" Alex yelled and i groaned aloud .
"Are you kidding me?"
"What he's still my bestfriend"
"Im gonna go" i mumbled but alex being the douch he is gripped my hand so i couldnt move . Sonofabitch!
"Alex" luka smiled and alex got up and they hugged or you know 'bro hugged' .
"Hey luka" i smiled and waved awkwardly.
"Hi lexa" he looked me up and down and went back to talking to alex . Okay im definately ticking this off my awkward bucket list .
"Alex im gonna go to wait outside"
"Yeah sure be safe" he narrowed his eyes at me and i rolled my eyes . My brother has been super overprotective since i told him about this dude that keeps popping up everywhere i am ... i only noticed when i would spend time with my family and he would always be somewhere close and he lives in fucking New york sheesh.
I went to the parking lot and got into the jeep and waited for alex to talk done with my ex . My horny ass should've thought things through when i decided to date my brother's bestfriend but luckily things aren't awkward... im guessing your wondering what went down ? Nothing much really nobody cheated but he did ghost me just randomly which is mad dumb since i practically see him everyday ... bitch ass
I saw alex and luka coming towards the car , laughing and i unlocked the doors .
"Alex we have to get home" i whined.
"Calm down luka just wanted to say bye he's moving tomorrow"
"What?" I looked at luka in surprise.
I got out of the car and went to up to him and he pulled me into his arms.
"Why are you moving?" My voice came out muffled .
"Work , we have a new project so im leaving im sorry i didn't tell you"
"It's okay i forgive you" i smiled up at him .
"Im gonna miss you" he kissed my forehead.
"I love you both but we have parents to visit" alex called out .
"Bye lexa" he was about to kiss my forehead again but i grabbed his face and kissed him.
"Bye luka"
I got back in the jeep and alex honked as Luka went back inside.
"Can you believe it?" Alex turned to me .
"No i can't but why didn't he tell me? Is that why he ghosted me?"
"Sis you should've have gotten closure"
"The moment wasn't right" i mumbled .
I mean i have moved on since luka and i , im a senior in college but it's like i lost all hope in guys ... i mean can you blame me?
Alex and i met up in the foodcourt after i came back from college and him from he's cooking gig in france . Yeah my brother's a freaking chef .
"So you wonder what mom and dad want?"
"To spend time with their lovely kids"
"Oh please" i rolled my eyes and he chuckled . Our parents are such workaholics we were basically raised by the help .
"So you met anyone new?" Alex broke the silence .
"No nobody has caught my fancy lately"
"Damn did my buddy scar you that bad"
"Nope i just lost intrest"
"I could set you up with someone" he wiggled his eyebrows .
"Yeah im good"
"Oh c'mon atleast give him a try"
"Fine when will it be?"
"Saturday?"
"Okay tell me him to meet me there at 8"
"He could always come pick you up"
"Ugh fine" i grumbled.
"Great I'll let him know" he took out his phone , my eyes widened and i grabbed the wheel .
"Dude are you trying to kill us?"
He rolled his eyes and put the car in auto drive . I sighed in relief and let go of the wheel . People my brother has crashed so many fucking cars .
We finally arrived at my parents house and got out .
"Lexa before we go in are you gonna tell dad about the creep that's stalking you?"
"God no dad will have the freaking army knocking at our door"
"Lexa this guy can be dangerous dad could get you secruity"
"Yeah and dad could also ruin this family gathering"
"He does it anyway"
"Children!" Mom yelled opening in the door and we both looked at her surprised.
"Mother" we smiled and hugged her .
"Where's dad?"
"His in the office with a family friend"
"Ouu who?"
"Dante" as soon as my mom said that name my coochie literally skipped a beat . Fuckimg dante's here?! The guy i practially obessed over my entire teenage years ... the only downside of having a crush on him is that he's almost never here . Alex told me that he's the don of the Italian mob but my dad refused to tell me.
"Dante?" I hid the excitement in my voice since alex was staring at me intently.
"So im gonna go say hi to dad" i smiled.
"Oh no dear your dad doesn't wanna be disturbed"
"Okay" i pouted.
"You are not subtle" alex whispered as he brushed past me . I glared at his back as he went up to his room.
"So mom why did we have to visit so abruptly?"
"Let's wait for your dad" she smiled and she took me to the kitchen .
"So let's have some girl talk"
"Aren't we a little old for that?"
"Okay let's have woman talk" she went to the celler and grabbed a bottle of wine.
"Better?" She held up two glasses .
"Yes" i chuckled and i poured the wine into our glasses .
"So fill me in bitch"
I burst out laughing . Since when has my mom been cool?
"I saw luka at the mall"
"No" she gasped dramatically.
"Yeah and we kissed"
"Noooooo!"
"And then we said goodbye since he's moving"
"What?"
"Yeah he's leaving tomorrow"
"Why? I was rooting for you two looney bins" she pouted.
"Yeah well he got a new job so" i shurgged .
"We're gonna need more of this"
"Yeah definately" i chuckled.
