Two years later:

After they left, everything has changed and nothing is like we promised. Seonghwa and I aren't facetiming or something else anymore. The only one I'm in contact with is San. We're writing once a week. He keeps me up to date.

Next week I'm going to fly to Seoul to surprise them. I'll stay at the dorm of my best and only friend Ryujin. She's also a K-Pop Idol in the girl group named Itzy. She and her members are the only people who know about my visit.

Everything is settled. I graduated school, I have a flight ticket and my suitcase is packed.

I spent the last day in LA with my family. We ate together and took a walk on the beach with my dog Bailey.

At the airport in LA:

,,I'm going to miss everything...'', I told my parents. ,, ...the beach, the food, Bailey, you guys. Everything!''

,,We're going to miss you too'', mom said.

,,Your smile, your kindness, your singing skills but most of all your baking skills, especially your cookies'', my dad continued.

I laughed. ,,Thank you dad, but you know I'm not singing anymore.''

,,Yeah and now you're going to miss the flight'', dad said.

,,And you're going to start crying just like me'', mom said to dad.

I hugged them one last time and then headed to the gate.

In the plain I had mixed feelings.

I was happy because I will see my brother and friends again.

Sad because I'm leaving my parents and scared because of one question:

How will Seonghwa react to see me again?
