Rory's POV:
It's five in the morning and I am still trying to find it in me to forgive Samantha. I am trying so hard not to cry. How could she betray me like that. She knew I liked him from day one, yet she decided to pursue him. I could still remember the moment she told me she liked Peter.
It's the first day of senior year, and I am unable to move let alone get ready. Eventually, I decide to face the music. Once I am done getting dressed I make my way to my car and drive to school. As I am trying to find a parking spot, I notice Samantha coming out of Peter's car while holding hands. My whole facade just crumbles at the sight, tears streaming down my face. I stay put in my car for a few minutes before deciding to head to my first period class.
I find a seat in the back and put my head down. ' Why can I never be enough for anyone?'
