Anirudhh caressed her hair, and slowly whispered,"I love you Arni",in her ears.Blushing a deep red she too said,"I Love You Too Janaab".He frowned in confusion, what was his wife upto."What novel are you reading?",he asked. He was very sure that she was dreaming of a parallel world,in some other lifeset. He chuckled at her innocence and hopeful attitude. He fell in love with her optimism, her intelligence and attitude and too hopelessly.

Answering his question she replied,"It's not about the novel. It is about the essence it had.I said Janaab today because i felt an immense wave of respect for you washing over me.Janaab means-".

"I understand then i too shall call you-",Anirudhh intervened.

"Nah! For me Arni is the name".She chided.

"Exactly! For you to show your respect there is no need to use any honorifics. My name is Anirudhh and you could always call me that",Anirudhh replied lovingly.

"New ways to hear your name,ha?Keep trying",she said as she ran through the orchards caressing the soft brush of freshly bloomed lavenders.

"Someday Darling!Someday",he said getting up to chase her.

Running after her, they actually ran upto the stream which flowed incessantly in a soothing tune underneath the bright blue sky of spring.

She ran like a free butterfly, her baby pink saree accurately adorning the sight. He slowed down and watched her with a loving smile. She was smiling, actually grinning and he loved her that way.

Finally running gave some fruition and Anirudhh could cage her in his arms.Tucking her hair at the back of her ears,he said,"Lets stop.I can't run anymore".

As they settled on the banks of the stream she abruptly asked,"Do you miss her?".

Turning into a huge pool of tears,he kept himself from breaking down into sobs.Anirudhh said,"We miss what we lose.I haven't lost anything. She is still here".A sheath of melancholy again washed over them.It was her who had brightened up things, who gave world a meaningful tag.Did she deserve it?No,she didn't.

"Don't keep yourself from crying. You've been pretending being strong all this while to give me a better day but at the end that sorrow is breaking you and I know that".

Anirudhh couldn't hold himself anymore. He broke down.Resting her head on her chest,he clasped her waist tightly as if she too would disappear.

"Arni.I miss her terribly. It was my mistake of which the punishment was inflicted upon her.She was young.Young like a tigress in making.I could see how she resembled her mother. She was witty.Curious and innocent. Why did i fight? Why?",he said. His entire body jerked in despair.

Stroking her back lovingly she said,"I know. But it was not your fault. At a young age, still not very mature, she wanted you to always fight for the truth. She was proud of you and used to tell people in her mellow voice,"Look at him,he is a Biristra Babu.He fights for the right".Chuckling at her cute salutations, she continued."Despair comes to people when it knows they can fight it.She was not destined to live on this dirty land. She deserved the heavens where justice is served and love spreads. She was an angel who came to show us a few realms of life and she did that in the best way possible. Her short life was a perfect example of what matters is quality not the quantity."

Anirudhh listened to her in a daze.He felt content that his fight against that filthy rapist was not a vain one, even if he lost his angel in that ugly spat. That man had taken his revenge by killing his very own little world. He slowly looked at her.She too was suffering. For the last few months,he had been handling her, putting his own pain aside and now she soothed his wound. He was happy that his angel was in the right place.

"See this why I call you Arni,Bondita. You are my sun as the name suggests. After a dark night, you're my bright golden star. You're the one who shines offering a bright way for everyone. You shine selflessly.Your shine bedazzles the good and scorches the bad. You're my Arni,my sun,Bondita. We never lost our daughter, our Rudhita. She went to her rightful home, the heavens with her Dugga Ma.Thank You Bondita for everything you do.You breathe, thank you for tha.You talk, thank you for that.Thank you for existing Bondita".

"Thank you for giving me an existence Patibabu."Bondita replied kissing his forehead.

"Please don't leave me Bondita. Please",Anirudhh said.He was afraid that he would lose her, just like he lost two of the most important women in his life.

"There is no Bondita without You",she said looking into his eyes and ruffling his hair.

Wiping away his tears with her pallu, earned him a soft chuckle from her."Lets start again Bondita.Shall we?",Anirudhh asked offering her his hand.

Putting her hand over his she nodded.Together they decided to start afresh. To win over their sorrows,to embrace happiness once again.

Anirudhh pulled Bondita for a kiss.As the passion flowed through their bodies, they knew this was going to be one adventurous night.

"Lets go home Arni",he suggested picking her up in his arms.

She blushed and rested her head at the crook of his neck. They knew that this was their world. In each other's embrace. In here, they could endure anything. They smiled without any inhibitions finally.

Finally,Together they won over the stabbing sadness and overcame.

Heya!

Again,an absolutely random piece of work.I am sorry if it lacks quality that the idea required or it appeared shallow..

Love,
