Days passed since they returned from Ireland and things were going wrong, Sulphia had made a long visit to aro and woke up naked next to him the next day.
She was disgusted with Sulphia and hated that such a beast was allowed to live in the Volturi.
She wanted to drive aro away from the demon sleeping with himby didn't know if she could as she knew deep down that he was losing his feelings for her but then again so was she.
Maze walked through the candle-lit halls and opened aros room and burned up when he saw sulphia laying there barely covered.
She went out slamming the door breaking the hinges.
Anger wasn't something she felt but when she was it caused so many to get hurt.
She went to the throne room blank-faced, nothing could make her angrier than broken loyalty.
She walked in sitting down as shetied to not cry out from the pain that was swallowing her.
The bond was breaking all because she couldn't satisfy her mate.
Aro came in looking panicked.
"Brother, whatever is the matter?" said Caius.
He looked at maze.
He had read something a long time ago that agonising fear could snap the bond.
She could enhance fear to the point where it's deadly.
Her abilities were poisonous and as he looked at the woman he still loved; the woman he still wanted he was afraid as he didn't know what was going on in her head.
He knelt down to her level feeling his throat close from the emotions that haunted him.
"Don't" she said.
Marcus looked into their bond and saw it turn a shadow black for unsteady.
Sulphia then walked into the room.
"Aro may I have a word?" he asked.
"Sulphia.
Come here" Maze said as her snowy white hair laid over her slender shoulders.
Sulphia looked at Aro with uncertainty before sitting next to the emotionless woman.
"Were you with Aro last night?" Maze asked with cold eyes that filled Sulphia with fear.
"We did nothing.
He gave me a tour around the castle but then left to find you" Sulphia said.
"He never came back to our chambers and I know that you know this tower very well" Maze said.
Sulphia looked at her not knowing how to respond.
"You're afraid" said Maze.
Marcus gave aro a threatening look.
"Marcus my dear could you tell me the bond colours," said Maze.
"Shadow black and a pink undertoned red," said Marcus.
Sulphia stood up trying to get out when Demetri shut the large doors.
"I saw you both together.
I know you spent the night with him" said Maze
"Brother," said Caius threateningly.
"Darling" Aro said.
"I went to find you last night as I was worried that something had happened.
I searched every room before finding you both" Maze said before looking at Aro.
"I trusted you but now im having to question everything.
You made me feel things I had never felt before and then you betray me" Maze said.
"I love him as well" Sulphia said.
"Then he's yours as I don't think I can find a way to feel the things I felt for you without feeling my skin crawl" Maze said.
She walked to Aro before grabbing his face softly before pressing down causing his skin to crack as venom poured down her face.
"Let the bond break," she said.
"No.
I have spent centuries loving you Maze; my darling Maze" he said.
"You never loved me.
This isn't love as there is nothing there now" she said before letting him go.
"I hope I never see you again as that would only complicate things further.
Goodbye my love" she said before walking out of the room as her heart shattered.
She gathered some of her things before leaving at nightfall.
She had never left the castle by herself yet she knew that the outside would be better now.
