Chapter 1 - Meeting the Ex

Renee's POV 

I sat at the kitchen counter going through the questions I was going to ask potential employee's today, I was nervous because I never done this before I really should of thought about this when I decided to run my own business, the front door opened Roman walking in from his morning run at least he gets the day off "seriously babe your still going over those questions?" he opened the fridge grabbing a bottle of water "yeah I just want to make sure I have the right amount of questions and that I ask them right, I'm just nervous"

"I get it your nervous but just imagine how those women your interviewing are feeling!"  "yeah I guess your right your always right"  "it will be over and done with before you know it babe" he want to wrap his arms rounds but I stopped him "what?"  "your all sweaty Roman and I ain't going to work smelling like you, anyway what are you planning on your day off?"  "well I'm gonna take a shower and it's a choice of going back to bed or catching up on some sport"  "what a dilemma" he just laughed "anyway I got to go Sasha will be waiting for me" I leaned up giving him a quick kiss "I'll see you later big dog" I don't why I call him that, it's just something that stuck really he told me his friends called him it at school and college so why not continue the trend right?

Later on in the day

I got through five interviews only one to go the girl I just interviewed was a perfect fit for the job AJ they called her she as a lot of experience and I like how she as many different styles but I still have one more so lets wait and see what this last girl is like "five down one to go" Sasha spoke as she finished serving a customer "I like her who as just left but I think I know already who I ain't hiring"  "yeah who's that"  "Eva the red head I didn't like her whole attitude, she just interested in discounts and how many holidays she would get, I don't want somebody like that working here" 

"Excuse me" I turned to see a tall slender women with long  blonde hair, dressed very professional I like her already "I'm here for the job interview"  "yeah of course would you like to follow me" we walked into my office and we both took a seat "I'm Renee and the girl you have just seen out there is Sasha we do have someone else but she is off today" "I'm Charlotte and I'm really happy you gave me this chance" " no problem let's get started shall we"

Around 40 minutes had past and me and Charlotte were still talking away "I think we have lost complete track of time, it was nice meeting you and I will let you know by the end of the week about the job" thank you" with that she left and in a matter of 40 minutes I basically got to know about her life story "so how did you rank her then?" Sasha standing in the door way "yeah she as plenty of experience, I kind of feel sorry for she's had it rough "what do you mean?"

"Well she was telling me about this guys she dated it's kind of heart breaking actually, they went through highschool together, college together both his parents and her parent bought them a house and when she thought it was the right time to bring up marriage and kids he basically told her he didn't want any of those things, she tried for months to change his mind but he didn't budge on the idea so she ended it, thought they finished on good terms considering but he came obsessive so long story short she found someone new and moved to start a new life."

At home

"So you basically have just done what you intended to do sit on your ass all day?" I removed my shoes and coat and walked into the living room "well I did move to go in to the bathroom but basically yeah" "you lazy pig" I practically fell on to the couch leaning back against Roman's chest, he wrapped his  arm around my shoulder, I grabbed his hand interlocking our fingers "so how did your interviews go today?" "you know what not to bad, I have a choice of two I want to hire but I don't know which one to choose, the last one I interviewed seemed to have a bit more knowledge plus I think it would good for her she's here starting a new life, her old one sucked, the guy she dated sounded like a complete asshole"  "what's her name anyway?"  "Charlotte " I felt Roman's chest stiffen up "you ok?" "yeah I'm fine babe"  I didn't put much pass on it, I think I might hire her I think we could become friends. 

So Renee as met Charlotte, I do apologize for the long and boring chapter but I hope you enjoyed it
