After my fight with the handsome enemy Ghirahim, I mean is it wrong to find the enemy that has stolen my sister and put her in danger attractive? Yeah it is, I guess. I frowned as I walked out of the door at the fact that I couldn't get Ghirahim out of my head and the fact that Zelda wasn't here safe and sound like I hoped. There was an outside spring that was quite beautiful in front of me. I walked on the stones that me to a crest just like in the Goddess statue in Skyloft, I knew what to do. I raised my sword skyward and struck it with a glowing Skyward Strike. It spun and glowed as I sheathed my sword and Fi popped out. "Master, I have a message written in the language of the gods of old. Allow me to translate for you." Fi started to dance around the spring as she translated.

"From the edge of time I guide you, the one chosen to carry out the goddess's mission. The spirit maiden who descended from the clouds must travel to two sacred places to purify her body. You stand in one of the places: Skyview Spring. The other is known as the Earth Spring." So that's where Zelda's headed I just need to find out how to get there before Ghirahim or someone worse does. "This second spring is hidden away deep within the scorched earth of Eldin." Oh no, I can't deal with heat well, I sweat too much from a little sun in Skyloft never mind what could be a furious heat. As Fi finished her translation the smaller Goddess statue before me produced another tablet like the one in Skyloft did. This was has a red gem engraved and was a different shape, I assumed to fit with the emerald tablet which meant going back to Skyloft. "Master, as I just translated, it would appear that Zelda purified herself in the waters of this spring. I calculate a 97% chance that she has already set out for Eldin, where another great spring exists." Fi informed me.

I nodded, "Didn't you just tell me this through the translation or di you have to say yourself too?" I asked as she was repeating words. "However, it is not clear what method of travel Zelda used to move from here to her destination." Fi told me what I already knew which was I had to return to Skyloft to place the stone tablet in the altar inside the Statue of the Goddess.

After getting back to Skyloft, I headed straight for the Statue of the goddess. Going inside, I walked up to the altar and place the tablet I got in the Skyview Spring into the altar slotting perfectly against the Emerald one. I expected another pillar of light had opened up and the way to Eldin was now accessible, I exited the Statue of the Goddess and looked around outside I could see in the near distance where was a red light that I assumed was the newly opened pillar to the surface. I made my way to the nearest ledge and dived off, calling Ace and taking to the skies towards the red light.

Skydiving into the new area, heat blistered in the air and all I could see for miles was lava. Fi popped out as soon as I landed. "Master, this is Eldin Volcano. It is an active volcano rich with the power of the earth." I looked up and that volcano was massive and high, I gonna need to climb that aren't I? My thought were interrupted by Fi continuing. "Approximately 65% of the region is covered by lave. It is inhabited by a large numbers of creatures that thrive in the extreme heat and direct flame. Please exercise extreme caution with flammable materials such as wood and fabric. In the event you catch on fire, I highly recommend you extinguish in the flames by the performing a forward roll or a spin attack." I nodded as Fi stated the obvious. I started to explore the large area and as I got further down a path two creatures popped out of the ground. "Hey! Hey! HEY! Y-you mess with our turf and you're gonna....pay?" The guy sounded timid as his buddy piped up. "Whoa! You're not....Yo, Ledd, I don't think this is one of them red creeps." Finally someone with eyes and a bit of common sense to see I wasn't an enemy.

Ledd nodded at his buddy and then back at me. "Y-y-yeah, I think you're right....No reason to scare the hair off us, though! Sorry 'bout that, pal. These monsters showing up and messing with our turf has got me on edge. They show up here, and I'm gonna knock the red clean out of 'em! That's what I'm doing here. Yeah, me, Ledd." His buddy shrugged and mumbled. "Yeah, whatever, Mr. Too Scared to Dig in the Dark." I chuckled in my head as Ledd continued. "Anyway, if you're looking for treasure, you should stay clear of those red guys." I nodded. "Yeah....sorry to break it to you guys but I'm actually looking for someone, not any treasure." Ledd's eyes widened. "Huh? You're looking for someone? NOT treasure? So that must have been your pal that passed by, sprinting by without so much as a glance in this direction. It was a sorta a blur of movement, so I didn't get a real good look, but I knew it wasn't one of those red creeps. Your pal must have gone straight up here, so why you follow?" I nodded and continued down the path, seeing where it led me.

I bumped into a few more of those creature that looked like Ledd and his buddy. I managed to make my way into a mining area where I got lost for a while.....I managed to get onto a new path and found another mole like creature that was complaining about 'red creeps' he turned to me and yelped. "Yeow! What're you doing? Don't be sneakin' up on me like that! Huh? You're looking for your friend? Can't help you there. Nobody's come through here. Maybe they went up the mountain from over thataway. Ahh...Wish someone would chase these clowns outta here." I decided I would help the guy and see if it got me anywhere. There was quite a few of them but I got them all ok, I heard the guy shout as I slashed the last one. "Whoa....You took out every last one of 'em." I made my way back up to him and he was surprised. "You're one tough customer! Thanks for all your help! I don't blame you for not knowing this, but us Mogmas always honor our debts. Let me give you something to prove it. Any special requests?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "not really, if you can help get a way forward then that would be great." He nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, sure. You said you were looking for a friend didn't you? Well, I got something that can help you reach this friend...." He handed me a pair of digging mitts I think they were that I could slip on top of my gloves. "With these you should be able to the top of that ledge right behind me. Just try digging in that hole below the ledge. You're in for a surprise. I just hope your friend hasn't been captured by those red guys. Here's hoping everything's OK." I did what he said and the hole blew out air just like the ones in the Sealed Grounds. With these new mitts I got further forward than I would have without them. I managed to make my way out of the cave area into a whole new area and decided to see if my dowsing could give me any pointers. It was leading me in the direction of the high mountains where the volcano was, of course.

I turned a corner and found another Mogma who turned around and yelped like the guy in the caves. "Whoa! Now there's a green one! One of your people just came charging through here...." My heart raced, Zelda? "Dressed in all black! That a friend of yours?" Oh, definitely not Zelda. But hopefully someone who could help. "See that up ahead? That's what we call a drop-dead end, but this character danced right over it. Seriously? Jumping over a gap like that? My jaw it the dirt." I furrowed my eyes and walked towards the gap and a bridge formed.

Weird.

I started to walk across, "Hey! You, the goddess's chosen hero...." I looked up at the sound of a voice, there was a character at the top of bridge arch. They had to know where Zelda was. "Zelda is ahead.....Hurry." Yep, I was right. I nodded, rushing across the bridge and running as fast as my legs could take me. Making my way to the top of the mountain was long and difficult, my legs were killing me. At the top I saw a door, thank the goddess this must be a temple or something. I saw two Mogmas that didn't see me talking to each other. I think it was Ledd and his buddy. "Hmmm....I'm sure they buried it around here someplace. Yo, Ledd! This is the place, ain't it? So what is it they buried again?" Ledd stared at his bud and spoke. "A key! K-E-Y, K-E-Y! They busted up the key to that door and hid the pieces all over the place. I'm telling you, one of the five pieces is buried right around here." Well, there was some information, I listened closely to see if they'd say anything about Zelda.

"Hey, that reminds me....That strange blonde girl in the weird clothes was taken away too." Bingo, keep talking boys. "That's right! I bet they got something really valuable stashed in there. And that blonde girl they took is part of their master plan too. I'm telling you, I can smell the riches from here." Ledd told his buddy. "So what're you saying we do once we find all the pieces to the key?" Ledd shook his head in annoyance. "Whaddya think, igneous? We sneak inside and take all the treasure we can carry!" "Hey....Why are we so worried about a key when we can just dig our way in?" His buddy asked, making a point. "What? Um..." "Just sayin'" "Ledd chuckled. "You ain't as dumb as you look!" They went away as Fi popped up. "Master Link, I require your confirmation on critical information from that Mogma conversation. The oddly garbed figure taken deeper into the region must be..." I smiled, answering her.

"Zelda!" She nodded. "My calculations agree Master. There is 90% probability the figure in question was indeed Zelda. Additionally, I calculate there is a 95% probability that the key to this door is made of the same material composition as this mechanism that bars it. I have detected objects of the same material in the surrounding area. Ascertaining the location of these objects will in our search for Zelda. I have registered them as a dowsing target for the time being." I searched around for the pieces of the key and found five of them, sighing for out of breath I managed to get back the top and opened the large door with all pieces combined they fit right into the lock as I entered the temple to hopefully find Zelda.
