"Hisoka. Hisoka morrow. you are?" he said giving you a sly smirk. you could tell this guy was bad news. along with the creepy guy next to him who kind of looked like a haunted doll. you didn't want anything to do with them.

"None of your business," you said as you looked to your left seeing a white table with a watch on it. hisoka quietly observed your every move. As it was the only watch on the table, you picked it up and placed it around your wrist. once you put it on, the wall on your right slides up as a door.

you read the writing on the other side. "Press O to open and X to not open" glancing behind you, the magician and haunted doll made a close appearance. "Press O hesyokar or whatever," you said relentlessly "and.."

"Gittarackur," the tall pinned doll said helping you out.

"Right.." You all clicked O on your watches and continued to walk through the door.

Hisoka slowly brushed behind you whispering in your right ear " It would be lovely to know your name, your aura is quite interesting~"

This is about to be a long day. maybe I should just tell him so he'll leave me the fuck alone.

you nudged hisoka back from your bubble. "y/n. my name is Y/n."

You walked ahead feeling eyes on your body as if they were hungry, but you didn't care. it's not like your outfit was all that appealing.

Black was your whole wardrobe. you didn't care what you wore half the time, as long as you were comfortable. of course, you'd dress up for special occasions, but this occasion was a hunter exam. you knew you'd be required to move around a lot, and most likely sweat a bit.

After many obstacle courses, puzzles and riddles, all three of you arrived at an open room, with a single platform in the very middle.

"what the fuck is this," you said out loud completely annoyed by this place. observing the rest of the room, you noticed a few people in long cloaks standing on the opposite side

"Allow me to explain" a speaker echoed filling the room. you listened to the anonymous voice as hisoka and gittarackur stood beside you.

"You've probably already noticed some of the prisoners of the trick tower are standing before you" the speaker continued. "The hunter exam committee has hired them on as examiners. In this phase, you'll be fighting against all three of them. the fights will be one-on-one with each person fighting only once. use any style you'd like, there will be no draws. to be declared the winner, you must simply win the fight. if the opponent admits defeat that will also count as a win. to pass, you must win 2 out of 3 times."

"hmm" Hisoka cooed

"For every hour the prisoners keep you occupied their sentences will be reduced by one year. good luck" the speaker stopped.

A small voice from the other side spoke up, "Who would like to go first?" The voice sounded more feminine, but you didn't want to assume.

gittarackur suggested going first by walking in front of both you and hisoka. "I'll go" he robotically said.

a bridge suddenly paved the way for him and his opponent. he walked across to meet a small girl who had long purple hair and bright blue eyes.

before anyone could speak a word, the girl fell to the ground. she had several pins on her head and neck. you couldn't help but be..impressed? his aura was incredibly strong it made you freeze. you hated to admit it but you were also a bit scared.
