thank you all so, so much for choosing and reading "my girl." its truly astounding to know that people out there selected this work, read it, and actually enjoyed it, and the feeling is beyond fathomable.
so.... this is my first finished fanfic!!! right now im sitting on my bed typing this and idk what to feel. i feel so... complete, content, and like im about to cry. 🧍🏼♀️😭
i cannot thank any of you enough for sticking with me this entire time. its been over a year since i started writing this, and though it was only 13 chapters, it still took me an embarrassing amount of time to complete (which u can blame on me being the boss of procrastination, forgetfulness, and all my damn schoolwork bc YIKES). i am also apologizing for the inconsistent writing, and for how cringe this entire thing was l o l
literally im about to CRY HELP.... BUT ANYWAY.......
this isnt the end of my girl just yet!!!
in fact, i dont think there ever will be an end. itll live on forever in my mind and heart, but also, on wattpad!
i dont have the power in me to say "okay, this fanfiction is done!" because its such a bittersweet feeling. on one hand, there's so much relief, but on the other, its so angsty bc writing this was a rollercoaster that took up so much of life and still lingers to this day.
so,,,,, id like to introduce: MY GIRL EPILOGUES!!
basically, itll just be new chapters i make on this book every now and then, somewhat like oneshots that go with the storyline of you and jiro. this'll include anything from moments from their minecraft groupchat, to scenes when they just started to talk, to them post-coming out.
dont expect updates often tho bc oh my god we all know how i did with this book 😐. it took me MONTHS between updates and i FEEL SO BAD FOR IT BUT IT GOT FINISHED IN THE END 🥳🥳🥳
but until then, please take it easy, remember to eat and drink water and get rest!!!
