Chapter Six

It was my first day of school today and I was more then excited. Yesterday Liam was needed home because of alpha duties and I got caught trying to sneak out by Heather. She put Charlie in my room to make sure I didn't attempt it again.

Twenty four hours have more then passed now and as much as I was going crazy, I knew it was worse for Liam.

"Being the alpha means being dominant." He told me over the phone yesterday. "When we met I was supposed to assert my dominance as we made love. That's when I would mark you of course I couldn't go against you so I stopped."

"Mark me?" I had asked.

"A bite on the shoulder. Remember when I bit onto your should when were making out? It felt good right?"

"Yeah."

"That because the wolf inside of you knew it's what was gonna happen, knew sex came along with it." I had groaned and made him switch the topic. Why talk about sex and torture ourselves if we couldn't have it.

"Zach hurry up!" I yelled to my brother. I went outside to wait for him but discovered he was already in the jeep waiting.

"What took you so long?" He laughed. Guess Zach was more excited them me.

Once we were on the road I took a look at myself. I let my hair air dry last night so it was more then a little curly. I had on my brown leather boots and favorite ripped jeans. My sweater was native looking and matched perfectly with my gray t-shirt.

"You look nice sis." Zach said smiling at me.

"Thanks so do you." My brothers denim jeans and white v-neck tee looked awesome with his leather jacket. We were a stylish bunch.

I laughed as I thought about Charlie this morning. He had fought with my mom about wearing his Spider-Man costume to school today. As I walked by she asked for my help. Being me I said he looked cool and highfived him. Zach said he liked it too and eventually we won over Heather.

"Eh I do say express yourselves." She shrugged and walked off.

We pulled up at the school and my mouth hung open in aww. It was an old brick building covered in vines. The words "Park Secondary" hung crookedly over the entrance. Getting out we went to the main office. The secretary gave us our schedules and sent us on our way. "Liam is meeting me. He said he'll show us around."I told Zach about Liam and him being my mate. He met him yesterday morning and they got along fine. Not Long after Liam showed up. He bent down and kissed me quickly, taking my backpack.

"Wanna carry mine too?" Zach joked, holding his bag out. I bumped my brothers shoulder and laughed. "The secretary is in my pack so I got her to give us the same classes. Since we're both in academic it all worked out." He smiled at me. "Zach you have first and last with us, including lunch." He nodded.

Zach was smart but he didn't like doing the work. It's an awful combination.

"We have foods first?" I asked excited. Liam nodded, clearly happy to see my smiling face.

The bell rung and the three of us headed to class. The teacher was an older lady with short gray hair. She to the point but you could tell she was nice.

"New students? My name is Mrs. Howard."

"Hi I'm Rayne and that's Zach." I said looking at my brother who had already started flirting with these girls at the table.

"Since you seem close with Liam." She said smiling at his arm around my waist. "You may be in his group. Mia, show Zachary what it is he is to be doing." She laughed and left the class room.
