I TRY...

I acually feel good

I stomp in my house and tell my mom I'm home. She asked why I was home a little later than before.
"Because I was walking with my friends"
"Oh! That's great!"
She had a big smile because she knew I was actually happy.
"Umm what are you wearing?"
"Oh an outfit that is in style. Why?"
"Oh because it just well....shows too much skin."
Of course my mom thought that. I was afraid she was going to say that. sometimes I feel like I can't wear what I want to wear because of Mormon rules!
"Sorry, I'll try to cover up better"
"Thank you sweetie"
"I'm going to go to my room now."
"ok"
I remembered to ask my mom something.
"Oh hey mom. I was wondering if I can go out with this guy on Friday, the day after tomorrow. can I please?"
"Oh!"
"Yeah I know it's new, but-"
Before I could finish my sentence she yelled..
"OF COURSE"
"thank u!"
I gave my mom a hug and went up to my room. I was happy that everything was working out perfectly. I was in my room on my bed thinking about my old friend, Isaac.
He was the best and didn't care what everybody thought of me because he knew it wasn't true. He was the best! I looked out the window and stared at those stars again. I added one little star in with the rest and looked at all of them saying
"Your with everybody else now"
I smiled and tried going to sleep but I couldn't. so I sat there thinking what it feels like to be one of the clicks now. I felt super happy about myself!!😄
