Four days ago hinata left japan and went to stay with his aunts and natsu in the states. It was a hard choice to make but it was the right one.
Oikawa lay on his bed staring up at the glow in the dark stars hinata insisted they put up. He said 'the stars will keep us safe'. Regardless of oikawas wanting shoyo to stay with him in japan and grow together he knew that the safety he created was gone.
Iwazumi- AYO KAWA WE HAVE PRACTICE COME DOWNSTAIRS
Oikawa- ughhhh COMING
He got up and grabbed his volleyball bag, then headed down. Oikawa hasn't gone to any practice since announcing hinata was leaving and that they would have to hold tryouts to fill his spot- which he was dreading.
Oikawa greeted iwazumi and drove him off to practice.
Once they got there they were met by the sound of shoes squeaking and voices yelling, a familiar and comfortable sound. As soon as the opened the door all eyes were on them, well all eyes were on oikawa.
Oikawa- carry on...
And everyone wen back to practice, letting their captain change and get settled.
Practice ran smoothly. The team was still worried about their captain and middle hitter, no has seen hinata since that one awful night. Their captain hadn't come to practice after the incident, so they all assumed the worse. When hinata didnt show up to practice there feras worsened. E
Oikawa woudlnt talk about hinata, if you asked him he would either ignore you or change the subject. Whit hinata gone the team felt lonely, less like a family. Hinata was their family.
It has now been 3 months since hinata left, the team made it to nationals after defeating shiritowizawa in the prelim finals. For once they weren't happy to win. Winning without him felt odd almost as if they were betraying him. Because it was his dream he wanted it for them.
He texted them telling them that he would be gone and would come back before summer. But nothing else. No calls. No texts. No emails. No posts. Nothing.
As far as everyone was concerned he could be dead.

Im also really sorry for not uploading and being gone for like two months. My schedule has just been really packed with school and volleyball. But I'm releasing the last two chapters on September 8th. It's going to be two long chapters and then an epilogue (hopefully).
