"hey katie are you going to the prom?" i ask while putting my concealer on
"no, are you?"
"oh same, how about you girls?"
"yeah me and cynth are going together" celia replies smiling
"yup!"
"how come the both of you aren't coming?" celia asks putting her lip gloss on
"i have to be back home before friday night" i reply
"yeah same" katie says pouting
"awe well in these past two days i've been having fun with you girls! maybe we can have dinner tonight?" cynthia says smiling
we all agree and continue getting ready

"you ready girls?" i say walking back into the hotel room
"yeah!" they all exclaim
we go down to this fancy restaurant that was one block away. it was pretty nice spending time with them after the whole incident with my so called 'best friend' and boyfriend.. hopefully nothing bad happens tonight.
"this is nice isn't?" katie says opening the menu
"it is"
"mhm, it's a good getaway too"
"yeah this was definitely needed" i reply skimming through the menu
30 minutes go by and my phone buzzes. but i ignore it, obviously wanting to continue having a good time with the girls

"ok well... i'll miss you girls." i say frowning and putting out my hands to give them all a hug

"we can plan a future vacation with just the four of us!" katie says smiling

it goes silent for a moment.
i sigh, "well i guess this is goodbye for now."
i pick up my suitcase and duffel bag and walk out the door, with katie walking behind me.
mattia is nowhere to be found, he's probably getting ready for the prom. i told cynthia and celia to keep an eye on him. i might be a little controlling but it's normal, at least for me.
i just text him that i'm leaving.
